Rain here all week , up to 10 inches .

chevymaher 02-18-2019 07:10 PM

River going out of flood stage and coldish. 20's at night. 40-50 in the days.

flash 02-19-2019 06:54 PM

I think we may have reached 50 today and the rain has not stopped , there is a creek running thru my yard where there should not be . I have never seen a winter this wet in all my 56 years . Im so ready for some DROUGHT .

chevymaher 02-21-2019 08:02 AM

LOL I got a creekbed running right by my back door on the house. That is a constant battle keeping it from flowin into the house. Few leaves a little mud and bingo stream changes course.

flash 02-21-2019 06:57 PM

Mine is real close to my shop where all my toys are at .

shadowgray396 02-25-2019 10:35 PM

33 and trying to snow. Parts of Oregon have snow, but we don’t.

carpoor 02-26-2019 04:43 AM

Had a high of 73 yesterday, down from 86-87 over the weekend. Currently 59, supposed to go to 75. Rain starting in the early afternoon.

Hank70SS 03-03-2019 06:42 AM

We had a big thaw last week. Had a good size lake in the back yard, it's all gone now. No worries with it though, it was 100' from the house.

flash 03-03-2019 10:45 AM

I heard we had already had over 40% of our annual rainfall in 2 months time and its about to rain again , I need some Drought . My Mud is about to Drown again .

chevymaher 03-03-2019 07:23 PM

LOL we just had snow. it is mud here to.

shadowgray396 03-03-2019 07:52 PM

Clear and still cold here. Feels like January and not March.

Sure does. We're back into single digit lows most of this week. We haven't had a lot of rain or snow but the temps have been brutal.

carpoor 03-05-2019 07:28 PM

85 yesterday, not sure if it even touched 60 today. Seemed to hover around 55-58 most of the day. Supposed to dip into the upper 30s overnight. Back into the 80s this weekend...

flash 03-05-2019 07:48 PM

Its brutal cold here in Ga with strong winds but at least the rain has stopped .

shadowgray396 03-17-2019 10:51 AM

Broke 60 here yesterday finally and have a 70 degree day coming up this week.

chevymaher 03-17-2019 06:22 PM

Today was one of those odd days. went up to fifty. Then temp dropped real fast it snowed a little. Then warmed up to 50 again. 49 out there now.

carpoor 03-21-2019 05:08 PM

We had three days of gloomy, mid 60s, and rain. Today was great, 75 and sunny. Supposed to warm up even more over the weekend.

carpoor 06-06-2019 06:02 PM

It has been HOT! Mid to upper 90s almost every day. Today, we finally got a good, hard rain. It's 78 degrees right now, was 94 around 2pm. So thankful for the rain. :ntwrthy:

FlintTony 06-07-2019 04:41 AM

This has been a rotten spring up here. Not been warm at all. More rain than we have had in years. The Great Lakes are at an all time high level.

Hank70SS 06-07-2019 05:30 PM

On the plus side Tony, your place here may be lake front property soon. Today was really nice, upper 70's, low humidity. Supposed to be nice tomorrow too, BUT then up to an inch of rain on Monday.

flash 06-07-2019 06:10 PM

Its rained here off and on for 3 days but the worst has not come yet .

chevymaher 06-07-2019 08:49 PM

LOL I mentioned I got a boat. Well I need it I think. It never stops raining

FlintTony 06-08-2019 04:32 AM

We finally had a good day yesterday. Around 80 degrees, no rain, and a light breeze. About damned time. Supposed to be a pretty good day today too.

flash 06-08-2019 03:23 PM

It has rained pretty hard here most of the day but we still managed to rescue a 67 GMC truck from a barn , it was in there tight too .

Hank70SS 06-08-2019 04:46 PM

Another nice day here, for a change. Around 80, low humidity and sunny until a little while ago. Not supposed to rain tomorrow but will be cloudy.

Hank70SS 06-20-2019 06:20 PM

Another rain out today. We're having a hard time keeping the grass cut. Either you cut 2 days after you just cut it or you have to wait a week because of the rain. Then it's so long and moist you need to go over twice to clean it up. I'm sick of rain. I finished all but a couple of sections of railing on the deck and it was miserable outside. In the mid 80's and humid. Next day highs in the low 60's. If it's not cold and raining it's hot and humid, enough already. I guess I shouldn't complain, we don't have flooding and storms/tornadoes but still this is ridiculous.

FlintTony 06-21-2019 04:34 AM

HANK, HANK, HANK, get up!!!!! It's not raining this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First day in a looooong time for here.

Hank70SS 06-21-2019 07:54 AM

Ya, and I have to spend the day at our daughters. Helping Henry build a new fireplace surround for her. Mantel, wood columns, tile hearth and around the fireplace.

carpoor 06-21-2019 07:32 PM

Unbearably hot, humid, and rains almost every day around 2pm. It is going to be an active "season" this year. (Hurricanes and tropical storms)

Hank70SS 06-22-2019 07:05 AM

It's been pretty active already in portions of the country. Torrential rain, flooding and tornadoes. We've had plenty of rain but most of the flooding is along the lakes. Lot's of wind from the east pushing the lakes up on shore while the rivers are trying to drain into the lakes.

mestorod70 07-19-2019 10:28 AM

Hotter than the devils dick here.
It aint hell.....but i can see it in the distance.

it is isn't it? I don't even want to go out in the boat it is so miserable outside,

Hank70SS 07-21-2019 04:41 PM

Been in the 90's, heat index over 100 with the humidity. Had a little shower Friday evening when we were out to dinner. 4" of rain in 45 minutes. That's pretty much unheard of here. We get plenty of rain but an inch in one day is a pretty good rain. 4" in 45 minutes, wow. Still over 600,000 people in SE Michigan without power. We didn't lose power, had TV and internet when we got home but it was gone in the morning and most of Saturday. So we're heading up to Mackinaw tomorrow for the week. Supposed to be in the 70's there all week. YES!

They are fun. I did the chevelle thing. Restored one. Ground up as they say. Nothing it old now.

Hank70SS 07-29-2019 04:40 PM

We enjoyed the boat when we had our place up north. Sold the place and haven't used the boat since, it's at our son's house now. Was all set to transfer to Charlotte, N.C. for work. Put the place up for sale, found a buyer then they canceled the transfer. Boy was I pissed. There's a lot of lakes around here but they're small, crowded and fished out, nothing like Lake Huron. Not sure if it's still true but Michigan had more registered boats than any other state.

Hank70SS 07-31-2019 06:47 AM

Another storm Monday. Our son, about 7 miles north of us, is still without power. He's in the middle of a large area that was out. That's been restored except a small area around his house. We have a generator but never lost power so they came over for dinner and to take showers last night. Sucks when you don't even have running water.

carpoor 08-21-2019 07:27 PM

94 today, it was hot! However, it is starting to feel cooler and less humid in the evenings. I figure we have another 2-3 months of this.

Hank70SS 08-25-2019 03:32 PM

It cooled down here a few days ago. Got to open the windows and give the A/C a rest. 58 degrees when I got up this morning.

flash 08-25-2019 09:08 PM

It was a cloudy , almost fall like day here today in Ga , yesterday was brutal hot and humid and I had to work all day out in it . I drank water like a fish and sweated it out as fast as I took it in . It was nice to come home shower and collapse .
