The engine is all sorted out finally, pushrods have been ordered. I am too tired, and it's too hot to go back out and swap out that door latch - so it can wait a few more days. Back to work on the frame and front suspension next week. October is approaching fast, that is my self-imposed deadline to get it running.

I torqued my front end again on my car and got it ready for a car show tomorrow. Looks like another hot show with the temps around mid 90's tomorrow.

Drove our vert over to see our boys for a few munites and then went cruising .

Took a shake down cruise tonight. Car really gets up and goes. First time I have really had it out on the road. Guess I should put a license plate on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nah ,just dont stop for them blue lights . It looks like rain here this evening so I wont be getting the cars out .

More scraping, sanding, and wire brushing the frame today after work. I am slap wore out between the heat and all the crouching and bending to reach everything. I am off tomorrow, with a little luck I will have it all in primer tomorrow and can start prepping for paint. I am beyond ready to have this thing back together. :grumpy:

I was beyond ready for 6 more years after I thought I would have it done.

This car has been in my family a little over six years. I started gathering parts in October of 2010. I pulled the driveline last year starting in April. If I can make my October deadline, that will put me at two years. I originally intended it to only be down for six months. Very overzealous on my part.

Spent the day making phone calls and waiting on phone calls. Now we just have to make arrangements to have my car taken to the trans shop.
