Daughter accepted to University of Michigan

My Daughter Haley just got a email that she has been accepted to the University of Michigan for the fall semester 2012. Anyone want to buy a Camaro, Chevelle, English Bulldog, Lift, engine hoist, wife's shoe collection and my collection of Jegs and Summit stickers?

It will take at least that to get her through college. It cost me over 50k to get my daughter through nursing school. Of course she went to a private college.

Congratulations Ric. You have to be so proud ! Now you have to have her spend some time on the computer and find every single scholarship available. Figure out what your heritage is, there are a lot of scholarships based on ethnicity. Such an exciting time for you. GO BLUE !

My middle son went to priviate school as well for Film (Columbia College in Chicago) and he came out with some student loans as well that he will be paying off for the next 20 years. I helped, but since he did not want to go to public school he had to pick up a good share of it.

My oldest start community College for a year then quit, now 2 years ago he decided to go back (He's 26 now and living in California) and he is getting finacial aid since he was layed off (selling Motorcycles) and they did not have to use our income. He just finished his Associates and now going for his bacholers with some help from us and his wonderful future wife. He is looking for some work as well but California is still in pretty bad shape in the job front.

She has some scholarships lined up so that will help, the school is helping a lot with those. Big problem though is that her Mom and I are MICHIGAN STATE Go Green. We have a better football team. ha

Tony, I really could not sell the Camaro to you knowing that the clock does not work...it just would not be right and I could not sleep at night...ha

In all honestly the cars would be the last thing to go, I'd empty my 401K first as the cars will hold thier value better. Thank god this is the last one and can't wait till we are done with this expense.....when she is done, I want a place down south in Alabama or Florida.

The JEGS and Summit sticker collection are for sale for a good price though.

Congratulations Ric. Even if it's not MSU, aside from the football team I hear it's a pretty good school. :)
Susan went to Madonna University for nursing. Didn't have any debt, but now that she is going to USC for nurse anesthetist she's going to have some huge debt. Henry got his degree from U of M, masters from Phoenix. Still paying off the debt for the masters, which sure hasn't helped him get a job.

What kind of degree is she going for?
