Would you get involved in a standoff with a SWAT team if they were going to invade your home?

No, I'm not into that 'death by cop', suicide thing.

What the heck did I do to warrant S.W.A.T. to invade my home??!! :eek:

I guess it depends on the situation. How many personnel, how much ammunition I have, what the crime I'm being accused of is, etc. I know I'd try to draw their fire away from the house. Unless, of course, my family wasn't home.

This is all tactically speaking, of course. No fight is unwinnable. You just have to measure the cost and gain and see where the math leads you to see if it's worth it or not.

Why are they at my door, and what are they going to do with me if I surrender?

What kind of scenario are we talking about?
-executing a search warrant at the wrong address? No
-investigating me for a crime I didn't commit? No
-government confiscating guns? Maybe
-US turns into 1939 Germany? Yes

Just one of my random thoughts.

I'm with Derek on this....but me and my only gun (9MM) and my English Bull Dog against a SWAT team and I'm sure the odds are against me. But if they are coming for the reasons that Derek said maybe and yes too we are in deep shit anyway.

Sneak out the back door before they have a chance to get there!:p
