Thinking about a new Challenger R/T

When we went to see my son a couple weeks ago in AZ we flew into Vegas and then drove down to Phoenix and with all the traveling I do for work I had a premium upgrade at Enterprise and they had a Challenger R/T that I took for 8 days. Well to say the least I fell in love with the car and have been thinking about selling my 72 Camaro and getting a new Black Challenger R/T in it's place to have a fun car that I can just jump into and go.

I have driven a new Camaro and 2014 Mustang and prefer the Challenger over both of them.

I would still keep the Chevelle as that it is a fun car to play with were the Camaro is too nice and Original and know better to do anything to it to hurt it ( I would love to transplant a LS motor into it but talk my self out of it every time).

Thoughts?

As much as I like the Camaro ,I think the Challenger would be more fun .

The Challenger is a nice looking car. I haven't driven one but it looks good.

You won't get shit for that Camaro with a busted clock, probably just have to junk it.

That is going to be the big problem if I decide to do it.

I did have a 2009 Challenger R/T that I traded my 05 Mustang GT for. They were both nice cars but the Challenger had much more room for the driver.

Tell whoever buys it that it has a "transferable warranty". Same one that you got.

My only advice, spend the extra money for the Scat Pak option.

My daughter in Las Vegas has been drooling over the Challanger R/T for a while. She has a 2003 Saturn that she is going to drive til it dies and then go and buy a Challanger. She figures she can keep putting away cash to put down as a down payment.

That was until some careless driver hit her again in the employee parking garage. Now she has decided that the Challanger would be too nice of a car to park in the garage. Sad thing that because of where she has to park she doesn't want to buy the car she wants.

I thought the 40 year 40,000 warranty was over since I know have 40,500 miles on it and it is 42 years old....Still the original clutch which does need to be replaced now.
