Detroit area

I just saw on Acuu weather. Man you guys have some big Thunder storms coming your way! Batten down the hatchs. Looks like high winds. lighting, and maybe some Hail. Just what we had last night. The lighting was unbeleiveable

I went to the lumber yard. Just incase I have to start building that Ark! :)

Hank70SS 06-27-2010 12:15 PM

I have about 15 gallons of gas for the generator. Need to go buy a case of beer and we'll be all set for the lightening show.

RICKS70SS 06-27-2010 12:35 PM

Thats the way to do it Hank. Its mostly sunny here today. Suppose to be great most of this week! See you have something to look forward too. :)

Ms Grumpy 06-27-2010 12:51 PM

We just got a smoker this week and were gonna try that today, then looked at the weather. Rain sucks !!!

grandsport 06-27-2010 10:16 PM

I used to go to Detroit on business.:)

RICKS70SS 06-28-2010 07:26 AM

What kind of business did you have in Detroit ? :)

Hank70SS 06-28-2010 07:34 AM

We were spared from the worst of the storm. I heard thunder rolling all around us but no lightening that I could see. Some rain but no winds to speak of.

There was a small tornado near Port Huron. One death and several injuries, we were lucky.

Beautiful this morning, still humid but that is supposed to get better as the day goes on. Sunny and mid 70's all week, so they claim.

RICKS70SS 06-28-2010 01:16 PM

its sunny and 65 degrees here in Mn. I BIG change from the weekend.

Hey Ric. If you get us into Back to the Bricks as a club, Ray will be going and we have friend here, Dave, that would like to join us. He has a 70 SS along with a couple of other cars. He said he'd like to join us either way, just giving you some numbers to work with.

RICKS70SS 06-30-2010 11:58 AM

Rick,

It's a week long car gathering in Flint Michigan during the same week of "Woodward Dream Cruise" and I've been going for the last three years and got Hank and Ray to participate last year and I think the really enjoyed it. Flint Tony is always there as well...One thing about Flint is that they want us there and pull out the red carpet for everyone. The name comes from Flints main street downtown is bricks and not pavement and its been there since the horse and buggy days. Here is the link. http://backtothebricks.org/

Thanks Ric. Thats the 1st time I heard about it. Of course I'm living in another state now. So that has something to do with it. Sounds like a good time. Pictures everyone
