Why does Hank have a different name here?

I know who you are.

Hank70SS 12-30-2009 07:13 PM

D***, now I have to change my name again. Guess I shouldn't have put Hank in my signature.

Finally is my name at TC because when I joined is when I 'finally' got my Chevelle. That and there weren't a lot of choices left there. User names were wide open here so I thought I would use something different.

grandsport 12-30-2009 07:23 PM

I have a feeling Grandsport will be available soon at TC.:p

piette 12-30-2009 10:42 PM

I changed my name here too Gary, I dont even know why. Its my last name now, pronounced like "pate" but definitely not spelled that way ;)

Whose buying new boots. I like redwings. :D

Hank70SS 12-31-2009 02:08 PM

Redwings are good boots. I have a couple of pairs of Caterpillar work boots, they've held up really well over the years.

grandsport 12-31-2009 02:12 PM

Nothing but Reebok Classics for me.:)

Seeb 12-31-2009 02:18 PM

Chippewa's for me, a little more $$$ , but last longer than most...at least for me.

I have a pair here that are about 5 years old and darn near brand new yet. They were the stiffest, most break-in resistant boots I have ever bought. I used them for 3 days and went back and bought another pair of redwings and never went back to the cats. I really should start slowly breaking them in again

Jeff

Hank70SS 12-31-2009 02:52 PM

I bought a pair up north and left them at the cottage. Eventually bought a pair for home. Don't have the cottage any more so I have both pair at home. They're probably 10 years old but I don't wear them for work, just around the yard and stuff.

If I had to wear them to work in everyday I'd probably go with redwings too.

Who hijacked my thread and turned it into a discussion about foot wear?

Chevelle_Nut 12-31-2009 03:02 PM

Are you worried it will turn into a Birkenstock discussion?

I stuck with the tried and true. When I first tried to sign in, software said "too many letters" but Da Grump took care of it for me! Thanks, Dave.
