Not working today but it's going to be do friggin hot and humid to do anything outside. Low 90's yesterday and the humidity moved in during the afternoon. Supposed to be low 90's again today.

I am sitting by the pool on the computer....

Wading pool in the backyard under the easy up watching my daughter play in the water while my wife mows the yard.

Not true, just have to buy a big enough mower. We had a push mower at the other house, here we have about 1.5 acres so we have a zero turn. Lynda can still cut it all, I just have to lift up the 5 gallon gas can and fill it up. :D

I am taking today off. Was up about 5am yesterday to start the smoker, and cook for a house full of people. Then had our fireworks last night, and had my son's friend spend the night.

We were gonna do something today, but my son's friend has his arm in a cast and is limited on what we can do. Besides it is hotter than "Haiti" outside, and the AC feels too good.

grandsport 07-05-2010 11:55 AM

I sold one today.:) She was in about 6 months ago finally pulled the trigger. Told me she would only buy from me.

Hank70SS 07-05-2010 12:54 PM

Good deal Gary, at least the day wasn't a waste of time.

In SE Mi you couldn't buy a car on a weekend. You couldn't buy one at night either. The salesman here had banker's hours. There were dealerships that had their windows busted out if they stayed open on a weekend or at night. It's changed now but it was pretty hard to shop for a new car when I was younger.

As long as I can remember it was M-T-T until 9 at night. I still stay open those 3 nights but only until 8. I hope the day never comes when dealers are allowed to be open on Sunday.

Chevelle_Nut 07-05-2010 07:15 PM

Some dealerships in Greensboro and Raleigh are open on Sundays, I hate it for those employees.

Sunday is supposed to be the day you can walk the lot if you are interested in buying something without being hassled by a salesman.
