Autorama Detroit 2011
 

Does anyone plan on attending the Detroit Autorama in 2011 ? We have a few friends that were considering going and we thought that maybe we would try to see if we could get a bunch of the cars in the same area. Heck maybe even put up a Chevelleforum.net sign if we register as a club.

grumpy was also looking at going to the big car show near Chicago in November 2010, is anyone going to that one.

We were discussing showing the car in both. We definately want to get a bunch of our friends for the Detroit Autorama.

As far as the Chicago show, it is only about 5 hours from here and with family in Chicago we might just go to see the cars.

I'll probably go to Autorama, missed it last year as we were in FL. Won't be showing the car though, it's definitely not a show car.

Mine may not be either, it is just a bunch of us that really enjoy our cars. Heck if we can we will be taking grumpy's Jeep.

I'll be there but not with my car, my car is no where good enough for the Autorama.

I think your cars are just fine for autorama. Theres everything there from big bucks to rat rods and all points in between.

We just thought to would be cool if we could get 6 or more chevelles together at the show.

I think that the Autorama would be a great place to hang out with friends and Chevelles.

I'd like to do autorama this year. I was trying to get into MCACN but can afford to have the car shipped there and back with out costing me over 1,000.00. So I think we are going to do autorama instead. If theres a group getting together let me know I'll be in.

Awesome please do. In all the years of going to Autorama I dont think I have ever seen a chevelle display. It would be really awesome to try and get a car to represent every year from 64-72. Maybe if anyone here is part of the Chevelle Club of Michigan or knows someone in the club maybe they can join along and gain some more members.

I have the 72 covered. I think that is an awesome idea, but we might be a little late in the game. But that doesn't mean that I am not going to try. I will try to get ahold of Chuck from the Michigan Chevelle Club and see if anyone is interested.

Looks like our plans have changed and we are looking at being there when they open on Saturday.

We're headed out of town tomorrow. My son will be here but don't think he's planning on going.

It was a pretty good show my fave cars were the Cortez silver 70 SS (by far the best looking chevelle in the show) the grabber blue 70 boss 429 mustang (best detailed car in the whole show) and the 71 Cutlass 442 W30 (my favorite car in the show)
