Beautiful weather for the weekend.

I am not sure if I really am in Michigan. It is supposed to be in the mid 70's and sunny. I am going to head out to a couple of the last cruises left around here. Not sure where I am going on Saturday, but Sunday will be in Clawson.

If anyone here has some great cruises around this weekend, let us know.

Enjoy the sun Michiganders, cause this may be the last we see of this milder weather for a long time.

I'm heading to a swap meet at Auto-City Speedway this morning. Tomorrow there is a car show in Birch Run we are going to. Perfect weather, for a change.

Apparantley, NOTHING tomorrow. looks like it's next weekend!

grumpy 10-09-2010 07:21 PM

You guys could always come to the Clawson show tomorrow.

Ms Grumpy 10-09-2010 07:46 PM

I joined the Michigan Chevelle Club and next weekend the 16th, the president is going to have a picnic at his house for all the members. It is near Wayne Michigan, they ask everyone to bring a dish to pass and they supply the main dish. From my understanding this guy has a beautiful piece of land and they line the perimeter with the Chevelles. When it gets dark, they light a bonfire in his pit. It is just a casual get together. I am thinking about going, but like everything else, it depends on what this week brings.

I am still heading to Clawson tomorrow, wanted David to take the Jeep, we will see how things go.

Hope everyone enjoyed the weather today, lets hope tomorrow is even better.

grandsport 10-09-2010 08:09 PM

I have something different planned for Sunday. I thing I shall have a few beverages while soaking up some sunshine.:p

Well maybe I can make it next week. I ended up in the hospital again yesterday and they think it's my heart again and stuck in here till Monday at the earliest. It's cool that I get to use my iPad to pass the time.

Hank70SS 10-10-2010 06:41 AM

Ric, take care buddy. Hope it's nothing too serious and they kick your butt out quickly. Keep us updated, we'll be thinking of you.

FlintTony 10-10-2010 08:16 AM

Her Ric...I hope it not too serious with your heart. Want me to swing up there and bring a pack or two of smokes? I'm pretty sure smokin is whats keeping me from having another attack. Take care, if you need something give me a call. Really.

grumpy 10-10-2010 08:56 AM

Hope your out soon Rick. Take care of yourself.

Yeah Tony, I remember hearing that story while we were at Frankenmuth.

Rick, sorry to hear about your trip to the hospital. I will take lots of pics and post them for you. I hope you are back on your feet soon. Keep us posted.

shadowgray396 10-10-2010 09:23 AM

Hope all goes well for you Rick, will keep you in our prayers.

RBeckman 10-10-2010 10:00 AM

Thanks everyone I'm just in here waiting for the cardiologist to see me and find out what is going on. They say I had a mild heart attack and will to do a heart cat tomorrow.

Tony thanks for the ofer on the smokes, they are all surprised that I don't smoke..ha. The only thing I need is a getaway car as my wife will not let me leave till this is figured out. The nomad would be a perfect getaway car...lol

FlintTony 10-10-2010 11:52 AM

Just give me a holler if you need a get-away ride. I'll fold the rear seat down, throw your ass in there, and get you home. Quickly, I might add.

You have heart problems too Tony, give me a call and Ray and I will come up and help you throw Ric in the back of the Nomad.

Ric, you take car my friend. We're all kidding around but this is serious so get better soon. Of course if you need some smokes or beer, I'm your man. ;)

Get well pal!

I like the joking as it makes me feel a whole lot better about this whole mess. They just told me they are going in for a look at my heart tomorow evening and it's not a emergency so that is good. I feel great, they just have to figure out why I passed out and now. It scared Leslie pretty bad so I don't want to put her thru this again....hell I don't remember anything except when I woke up there were a bunch of people standing over me in uniforms. Also since I hit my head they did a cat scan and they said my brain looked good...I think Leslie disagreed.with them...ha

shadowgray396 10-10-2010 09:22 PM

Good to see you still have sense of humor, lol. My wife would probably agree with Leslie if I hit my head too. My wife never thinks my brain is normal. She alway seems to ask "What where you Thinking" when I'm in trouble. Problem is I probably wasn't. Take care of yourself and get better.
Ray

Compared to what? :p

We'll do our best to keep your spirits up, you work on getting better.

Hank70SS 10-11-2010 07:06 PM

We need an update Ric. You okay? I need someone to come over and do some heavy lifting and some other work that I'm not up too. You better get well, I'm too old to handle all this without help.

Seriously, let us know, Lynda asked if there were any updates today. Take care.

Ms Grumpy 10-11-2010 07:06 PM

Ric, You have a woman that cares a lot about you. And yes there are no husbands who are in the right state of mind, and there is no way that the cat scans can see them.

Feel better, and let us know how things are going. If you need anything just let us know.

I'm in the right state of mind! The fact that Lynda can't see that is her problem, not mine. :p In fact I'm going to go get another beer so I'll be even more righter, so there.
