Highway Star 10-17-2010 03:46 PM

His insurance or yours? Who was at fault? How did it happen? Were you moving or parked when it happened?

This sucks!!!

bolly 10-17-2010 04:08 PM

It's going thru his insurance, and mine said it won't have any effect on mine... we'll see... now I'm really freakin hopin the entire car will need to be sprayed... ifso I have a plan :)

Good luck with the claim, man. Hopefully things work out in your favor.

Ms Grumpy 10-18-2010 11:14 AM

When I read the post I couldn't believe it. For all that we love to drive our cars, sometimes you have to wonder what people are thinking. Especially since it is not a small car, usually it will catch someones attention cause you don't see these cars everyday. I am so sorry, I hope everything works out for you and the car. Let us know what happens.

bolly 10-18-2010 04:49 PM

ya crazy thing ms grumpy! thanks!!

it was about 6am and he musn't have looked behind himself very well

I'm at a crossroads here, besides the damage from the accident I need to repair/replace my fenders...

back window should come out again, 1" spot bottom corner

couple smallish 3" x 1" areas of rust

seams at bottom of doors need attention

ALL this should be done before I get the insurance work done so while they're at it they can spray the whole car...

OR just have the accident damage repaired and the paint blended into the door and roof... and worry about the rest of the car later.... which I'm afraid will probably never happen :(

flash 10-18-2010 08:16 PM

Bolly ,it will all work out . But I have got to ask where is CFB bORDEN ?

bolly 10-19-2010 04:02 AM

about 1hour North of Toronto flash.

bolly 09-18-2011 06:03 AM

Wow...it took a year to get the damage repaired. Did you get any compensation from the police ?

Ms Grumpy 09-19-2011 07:39 PM

Bolly, is that color Gun Metal Grey ? I saw a car painted that color this weekend and it was really cool looking.

flash 09-19-2011 08:04 PM

I like that color whatever it is .If I ever repaint my El Camino I want the stripes gunmetal grey instead of black .Im not sure how the grey stripes would look on Flame Orange but Im just dreaming anyway.

Ms Grumpy 09-19-2011 09:03 PM

I think that would look sweet flash.

bolly 09-20-2011 02:52 AM

gunmetal grey or something, not exactly sure... my subaru is steel grey metallic, my kaw I'm thinking of going peacock grey, a limited original colour.... only reason it took a year Ms grumpy is I was building my motorbike, it was my fault. The repair actually only took 4 days! :)
