Last ride for about 6 months.
 

It was a beautiful Sunday morning,so me and the black car took a little ride,the last one for a while.Started the project right on schedule.Got the hood off,and safely stored away.Got most of the front end off,I hope to have it all off and everything sorted by next weekend.Well,there is no turning back now........

Good luck Gary. Now you have something to keep you busy over the winter months, can't drive the car in the winter anyway.

Yes. Hopefully I wont get my usual winter depression. Now I'll have the car to complain about.:)

My heart goes out to you Gary. But you know that this is going to give you something to do all winter. Now you know since you started out on schedule that everything else is going to be off schedule. It is the rules of the game when it comes to working on our cars.

My car projects contribute to the depression :D The only effective cure I've found is an indoor karting league. :cool:

There will be plenty of indoor beer drinking.:beer:

Only working from the cowl foward.Really going quite well,no hidden surprises anyways.

Have you found all your parts yet ? Got any parts to get rid of ? How is your progress and are you having fun yet .

Got the last piece of the puzzle today,my correct dated intake.I will take it to the machine shop Thursday.I sure hope it is a good one as it was very hard to find.Yeah Flash,I'm enjoying it but I will have to learn to be patient and take my time.I still have to finish taking the rest of the front end apart and sorting things out.Hope to have the cowl painted this weekend.I know one thing for sure,this winter will fly by.:)

Sounds like you are your way. Take lots of pictures and bag and tag everything so you know where it goes back too. Got to post a few pictures and let us in on your fun.

Im driving my El Camino as my daily driver until I get my 72 truck back on the road .I think I got some bad fuel as well as rust in the gas tank . Just dont tell my insurance company .
