What is your dream Christmas present??

So we all get asked "What do you want for Christmas?". We respond to that question with a random answer, maybe something that we think they would give us.

SO ......

What is your dream Christmas present ? Something that you think no one would ever get you....

Ms Grumpy 11-29-2010 04:15 PM

A brand new 4 car garage, with a lift, heated, cooled with a fridge. I'm not asking for too much.

grandsport 11-29-2010 04:25 PM

A little serious coming from me,but it would be to have my daughter be free of pain.:(

Highway Star 11-29-2010 05:22 PM

the really outlandish... an open checkbook to get my Chevelle going again

the really really outlandish... all my bills paid off

the really really REALLY outlandish... peace among men (on all levels, forever, a true victory of good over evil and everything that goes along with it)

A 6 bay garage with lift and plenty of time and money to play in it with.Other than that Im good .

TO be debt free and be able to help others. I have to admit a motor for my Chevelle would also be nice.

Debt free is a great dream we realized several years ago but it still takes everything we make to stay that way .It is very hard to stay out of debt as we need a new daily driver but so far we refuse to do it .Good luck with your dreams everyone.

2010 Corvette drivetrain, ECM etc.

My 401k back to pre-2008 level, house worth back to pre-2008 level and my salary and bonus to pre-2008 level. Does anyone see a theme here? Oh yeah world peace since we are just dreaming here.

Never really thought about it. We're comfortable but there are always things you would like to have that you don't. I could provide an endless list but really wouldn't know where to start so I won't.

I'd like Lynda and I to have good health and be able to enjoy our remaining years together. I don't really need a lot to be happy, sure I like 'stuff' but more 'stuff' doesn't really make you feel any better.

Very true Hank !

Gary, the health of our family is always important, especially our children.

Maybe I was a little out there when I posted mine, I just wanted to have fun with this thread. So if your income was back to pre 2008, your family was in good health, what would you dream for.

P.S. I hope everyone's wish comes true

grandsport 11-30-2010 06:48 PM

I'm good as is. But since you asked.:) An invite to Lindsays wedding with a note attached saying the reception at the country club has been paid in full.If that would happen,I could buy myself a lot of crap.;)

Derek69SS 11-30-2010 07:24 PM

I dream of being able to give both of my sons 100 acres each... so 199.75 more acres is my wish. :D

Still waiting on that CHANGE? lol, little political jab there. Not to start another topic though.

I'd have to say, if we were just having fun, 496 stroker, T56, aluminum driveshaft, and Moser 12 bolt rear for the Turtle.

Nothing wrong with dreaming Nancy, I think that's what keeps us going. Like I said, there's all kind's of things I would like. Just can't think of anything in particular that jumps out as a dream Christmas present.

the outing of our current government, replaced by honest citizens serving only our country and in limited terms without a giant paycheck or retirement.

Oh and a billion dollars :)
