Really? Really? A leak? !

Can I not cut a break ? Today went to have a minor problem fixed, which we hope we did. And grumpy noticed a small leak, and it was trans fluid. It looks like it is just the fitting, and we didn't have the correct tools, but why is it one thing after another? I understand that things break, are old, but this is brand spanking new.

Sorry guys just had to vent !

Ya I hear ya Ms Grumpy. About two weeks ago i orderd a new transmission, got the grenaded one out, put the new one in went to test it on jackstands and no reverse!!!!! Needless to say I had to pull it out contact JEGS and have this one picked up and a new one dropped off. Alot of work for nothing! Hope things get better for ya. Boyd

trans cooler line? is that what's leaking? that's an easy fix. is it plumbed to the radiator, or an external cooler?

Derek69SS 07-01-2011 11:26 AM

I worry when my cars don't leak... means there's nothing left in 'em. :D

Rharp 07-01-2011 01:00 PM

Hope it's a cheap fix and your up and running in no time.

It was so hot and muggy today, and the guys who were going to fix it were going to the track at 3pm today. So we didn't have a chance to get the car out to the shop. And I am OK with that. We are pretty sure that it is one of the connections and just need the right tools to fix it. I am so busy this holiday weekend, and I would rather that the guys take their time to fix it than to possible rush because they want to get out the door.
So I will wait a few days. I am OK with that.

And I agree that if there is not something leaking/going wrong then I know something is not right. I would rather deal with a bunch of little things than one big thing. Oh Yeah...we have already dealt with most of the big things, knock on wood.
