Hello from new owner
 

Just want to say hi to all and i hope to learn something here about Chevelles in general and maybe ask some questions about my 69 SS.

Thank you Gary,i just traded a 94 Dodge Viper RT/10 for it...and i am very happy! The man i traded to had over 50k invested in a seven year frame off restoration. I had two Vipers,so now i own a muscle car from the big 3 . I have a 06 Mustang GT , a 99 Viper GTS and now this beautiful Chevelle SS .I have always loved Chevelles and i have to go out to the garage every few minutes just to stare at her! lol:D

P.S. Yours looks great too! i just went and saw it..Nice!

Sounds like 3 awesome cars.Now that my car is done,I enjoy looking more than driving.

Thanks...the former owner sure did a good job of restoring her. He kept a photo record of the seven year 50k build and gave to me . While restoring it he found the original build sheet taped to the top of the gas tank.Whoever thought to do that sure helped me out . A lot of documentation. He really built the engine too. Dynoed 550 at the wheels. He just took a lot of time and pride in his work. All the better for me :banana:

Thanks Nate, the guy i got it from always wanted a Viper.He painted the Chevelle with Dodge colors..Jewel blue with Viper yellow stripes..the inside of the trunk is painted the blue with yellow stripes too.The engine compartment painted yellow and blue also..(with chevy engine colors of course!)..so when he saw my Viper for sale,he contacted me with an offer to trade his Chevelle ..i jumped right on it after i saw the Chevelle. He really did a great and thorough job. He built it just to show,and he said he went to a lot of car shows and always came home with a trophy.(i don't doubt him) I wish i could take the credit for this beauty,but he did all the work,and i was just lucky by being at the right place at the right time...I loved my old RT/10 Viper but i am very happy with the trade! He is very happy also so it was a good trade.
