Ever think about having an artist draw your car ?

If you ever thought about having an artist do a drawing of your car then you need to click on the link below fot this auction on Audiokarma, our other site.

Last year I was lucky enough to have my Secret Santa win this auction for me. I talked with Aaron and told him what I wanted, then sent him some pics of different angles of the car. As he was working, he kept sending me updated pics of the artwork in progress. When I received the artwork it was beautiful.

So if you need a suggestion for the wife for Christmas, consider bidding on this. Not only would you get a beautiful piece of art, you would also help in providing a Happy Holiday for a family.

Thanks...Nancy

Me too...and I only have the 72, unless you count the daily drivers, then it's 3.

I hear you, Christmas is going to be very skinny this year. Trying to live off unemployment and what we've saved until about April next year. We'll be able to eat and pay the bills but no buying stuff just because I think I need one of those.

Looks like no one else is bidding.:confused

just wait, a lot of people wait until the last few days to put in a bid. But my fingers are crossed for you Gary.

I just contacted a girl out in Oregon to do my Nova in front of Mel's drive in. It was SUPER pricey, but since I won't have the nova soon, I thought it would be cool to have something to remember it by. Kinda like my shot of my Olds Cutlass drag car on the line at Maple Grove in Pennsylvania.

Alan, grandsport may not like it if I tell you this, but I bet if you asked Aaron (the artist) he would do it for you. Sorry Gary...

I spent a few years as a commercial artist. I may just give it whirl myself and see what I can come up with. Paints and brushes are sitting in the kitchen and I'm sure the pens and pencils are easy to find as well.

Some guy there "proposed " a new rule of a $20 min. bid. Sorry Nancy he took the fun out of it.PM me your address and I will make a donation to your great work.

I've done a few of my own cars.
I just take a good hi-def digital photo of my cars using one of my wife's $$$ cameras and convert the photo into a charcoal drawing using Photo Shop. You can PS any back ground into the pic.
Then simply take the file of the altered photo to any film processing store for printing in your favorite frame size.
Looks very cool...
