New from OKC, but no Chevelle

How's it going. Sorry I don't own a chevelle but it does atleast wear a bowtie and even sports a BBC under the hood. I'm 24, have a wife and daughter, am a huge Jesus Freak, and am currently AD military and deployed right now. I own a 1990 454 SS pickup, with just over 55k miles. I have build planned for this summer that's basically heads, cam, intake, small blower, T-56 tranny, with a 4 link outback. More info on my build thread at the bottom. I do lurk over here lookin for parts quite a bit, and checking out casting numbers when I was lookin for GM heads. I guess thats about it, here's a couple of pics of Betty and a link to the build thread.

I just saw pickup just like yours sell on mecum for $5,750.

A couple things.

1. Thanks for your service.

2. I will give you 6K for the truck and you can tell everyone you got more than one that sold at Barrett-Jackson. Bragging rights.... lol

3. In your engine pic the unit right below your master cylinder with the yellow dot (the yellow dot means it passed testing on First shift) on it is your Rear wheel ABS made by Kelsey-Hayes and I was the Quality Engineer on the GM parts back then, so the part is world class. If you have any issues with it let me know, as we do remanufacture them now. Kelsey-Hayes is now TRW.

4. The thing you need to know about BBC is "there is no Replacement for Displacement"

Thanks for the info, and I'm gonna have to pass on sellin the truck seein as how I got about 4k in parts waiting on me with another $8,000ish on my parts list. The wife would kill me if I ever got rid of it. That's cool to know about the inspection. I don't think I've ever met anyone who helped QA my truck.

If you ever do sell that truck take no less than $15k. I just saw one go for 14,750 on mecum.
