Ron Paul supporter banned.

And I befriended him too.Why did this happen?

earthquake68 02-03-2012 07:50 PM

It could be as innocent as what happened to me. They shuffled around ISP addresses and he got one that was previously banned for spam.

Ms Grumpy 02-03-2012 07:50 PM

Sorry grandsport. We have political chat for those people.

flash 02-03-2012 08:40 PM

You just think they listen to you ,they are really daydreaming about Lindsey petting them.

Derek69SS 02-03-2012 09:03 PM

I have secluded myself from TV, radio and all internet, except this site, to keep all outside influences at a distance so this round I will be able to make a wise and unbias vote unlike my unwise vote "for change last time. ..... glad I missed the infiltrator.

I do you get the info needed to make a choice?

Rank 02-19-2012 11:51 AM

Just like everyone else ... I base my vote on empty promises.

grandsport 02-19-2012 12:37 PM

I'll take any promise not to turn this great country into another banana republic!

That's a good one Rank. That's about all we have to work with, unfortunately.

Not really,Hank. We need someone who believes in enterprise and capitalism to make this country work again. So what if the rich get richer? If they know they can invest without getting penalized, they will create jobs! I am all for the wealthy,I work for a multi-millionaire and he provides me with a six figure income.

Rank 02-19-2012 03:09 PM

That would be in a land far far away and long ago Gary .... this system needs a total overhaul, none of the bastages can be trusted . We all recognise the problems but no one on the podium commits to make those changes ..... no one.

And who is right for the total overhaul?

Ms Grumpy 02-19-2012 06:00 PM

Six- figures grandsport. Will you adopt me ? Please !

Rank 02-19-2012 07:23 PM

Anyone ..... its the laws, standards and expectations that need to change. Campaign contributions, rider bills, lobbists, social security "borrowing" .... on and on.

What we need and what we have to choose from are two different things.

grandsport 02-20-2012 07:19 AM

Sorry, that wasn't a brag it just slipped out.I've paid my dues over the years, especially when I had my own business sometimes working seven days and making nothing.Plus, being in my position you are always looking over your shoulder and nothing is for certain it could end at any time.

69chevelless 02-20-2012 09:55 AM

I own my own buisness and I make 6 figures, plus I have a buisness partner.

Rank 02-20-2012 11:28 AM

Yes, its a pathetic lot from all sides. Personally I think any monkey with opposable thumbs could do the job, but its the job description and the whole political industry that needs change. As far as "who" is best to impliment the changes .... the voters.

I always believed that people got what they asked for. If you go into a job and pitch yourself and ask for nothing, you will get nothing. If you ask for a lot, maybe you will get it or maybe you will negotiate.

flash 02-20-2012 07:01 PM

I've always had to settle for whatever was offered for pay as there were always 2 more people that wanted the same job .

But did you get the job ? Sometimes we all have to make concessions, just to pay the bills.

flash 02-21-2012 08:07 PM

Yes ,I usually got the job and always did well with it.
