What's your favorite car chase movie ?

I was searching out something this morning and came across this list of the top 5 car chases of all time. I may not agree with some of them.

But I was wondering what are your top car chase movies or scenes ?

Here is the link to Bold Rides top 5 choices. It was cool to click on the links and see some of the cars in the back round of the scenes.

Nice list. I will say I forgot about some of those. I don't know how anyone can pick a top 10 when there are so many good ones, Cannonball Run (loved it), Gumball Rally (another good one), the list could go on and on. Keep 'em coming, this is bringing back some great memories.

Here's a good one...

Mother, Jugs and Speed...

with Bill Cosby, Raquel Welch and Harvey Keitel

Here's a link to the trailer from the movie:

grandsport 02-13-2012 06:06 PM

I wonder which one was jugs?

flash 02-13-2012 06:38 PM

I think it must have been Cosby.

Ms Grumpy 02-13-2012 08:22 PM

A little sarcasm here, I am sure you guys noticed her "jugs". I bet most of you had a crush on Raquel Welch in that movie, or at least around the time the movie was made.

earthquake68 02-13-2012 09:28 PM

I remember watching the movie, but it's been FOR-FREAKIN'-EVER since I saw it. I forgot about that one. I remember commenting to my brother that the ambulance with the side pipes was way cool. (I was a gear head before they even had a term for it!)

flash 02-14-2012 06:20 AM

Hey, Raquel is still a looker .

flash 02-15-2012 06:53 PM

Another good movie was the Cincinatti Kid
Death Race 2000
and Hollywood Knights was OK.

earthquake68 02-15-2012 09:04 PM

I liked Hollywood knights. Dazed and confused was a good one also.

Ms Grumpy 02-16-2012 09:08 AM

How about the original Blues Brothers.

flash 02-16-2012 11:02 AM

Blues Brothers was definitely one for the list, love that movie.

Ms Grumpy 02-16-2012 11:19 AM

grumpy told me this morning that he lived near the mall where some of the scenes were shot for the original Blues Brothers. They closed the mall to film the mall scenes and right after the filming they closed the down the mall for good. Then on the news this morning they had a story that the mall is actually going to be torn down. The mall was old back then, and it has taken them this long to tear it down ? All that matter is that we got one hell of a cool movie out of it.
