Just got my registration information for Sept 7-9 2012....Who's going this year?

Kathy and I will be there. Taking the Nomad again.

I'm number 0273 and I will be taking the Camaro this year if I can get the clock working.

OK, we're registered. I probably won't go to all the trouble of getting a hair cut and shaving but I will polish my sneakers and I promise to shower first.

You guys want to do some lunches together like we've done before? I'll bring the grill.

The grill thing is kinda up to you Hank. I likes me some burgers and dogs, but I can go to the deli and grab some meats for subs. If you are limited for room in the car, I would say leave the grill home.

Henry will be coming up Friday morning, he can put it in the trunk of his car. Then we can go get it with the Nomad like we did before if that's OK with you.

I offered to drag it up behind my car but I guess no wanted that, I will bring the veggie burgers for those of us with heart issues.

I'm with Tony on that one. Of course I haven't been rushed to the ER because I was having a heart attack like some people.

My kids swear by those veggie burgers.

Well who is going to be the first volunteer to send me a couple to sample or at least a recipe .

They are available in the grocery store. Look for BOCA Burgers in the freezer section. SAM's Club sells them also.

And I thought you were talking homemade ,may try them sometime though .I like homemade turkey burgers and I just bought a new grill so it may be time to break that baby in.

My wife loves those Bocca burgers, they aren't to bad if they are covered with BBQ sauce.

Ok, it's a week and 1/2 away. So Far I have seen Tony, Hank and myself with our lovely spouses going. Also, John with the 69 Silver Chevelle and Eric with the 69 Yellow Chevelle and Mike with the 1952 Henry J will be joing us, so that makes 6 parking spots. Anyone else?

Note: The Camaro is kind of iffy as I just found out that the light for the AM radio does not work and it may be dark when I'm driving and not having a light so I know what AM radio station I'm listening to is unacceptable. Does anyone know of a AM radio station in the Flint area? I listen to WJR out of Detroit but I lose that just past Flint.

Ric...park the Camaro immediatley!!! There is severe danger trying to drive it without the radio light! Call the law firm of Dewey, Cheetam, and How, ASAP! Sue the dirty bastard that sold you the Camaro! First the clock, now this! Maybe you should just hunt the seller down and KILL him!

Or just give me the Damn Camaro .

Let's not forget about the tail light being out as well, and the 3 minutes and $1.19 I have into this repair. I have to admit that he did try to make the clock issue right with the garage sale pocket watch and velcro strip.

I have been thinking about this a lot latley and my wife has told me to forgive and forget and not let it affect my blood pressure and to control my rage over these major issues. Plus the guy I bought the car from carries so I need to careful of that...don't want a shoot out in the middle of Frankenmuth. I'm thinking if I steal his smokes that would be payback for all the frustration I have been through in the past year.

John, I could not do that to a fellow member and have that sort of anger directed towards me. Plus I know you are downsizing so I don't want to add to your collection.

Mike, the guy with the silver 69 Camaro, is coming up Fri morn and will be parking with us. What time do you plan on getting up there?

Is that the Yenko tribute one that was with us last year? I don't remember what time we got there last year...7:00 am? Gates open at 8:00. I see we can rent AMIGO's there to cruise around in...I wonder if they will allow us drink and drive with one of those.

Talked to Ray last week, he plans to come up Saturday for the day with his new squeeze. My neighbor is getting a restored 70 convert from Tony,s Muscle cars in PA. If the seats and top are done in time he plans to come up Saturday too. Not sure how many spots we can hold but we can try.

I think normal arrival time for us has been around 7:30. Doesn't look like Brian has chimed in, wonder if he is coming.

I got the grill and propane covered. Lynda said she'd make pasta salad or something like that and maybe some homemade chocolate chip cookies. Tony you plan on getting the meat and buns in town again? Ric, can you do condiments again, catsup, mustard,etc? We can all bring chips, nachos, snacks.

Only a week away, guess I better go clean up the Chevelle.

If you could of squeezed out a few more bucks for the Extended warranty, none of the problems mentioned would of been an issue. ;) I'm sure the deductible had was the deciding factor, so I understand why you decided against it. :D

My car is scheduled to be picked up by the trans shop on the 8th, not sure what time. I am hoping to make it up to see you guys this year. Heck, I can't drive my car so at least I should go and look at some other sweet rides. Not sure if I will be able to get grumpy to go, a lot of walking is hard for him. But I am hoping to bring my son Jacob who is my cruising buddy.

Don't have to have a car there to enjoy Autofest. Make sure you stop by for a visit. I'm sure we'll be next to the Bavarian Inn again, in between the inn and the river. Just look for a couple of black Chevelle canopies.

If you let us know what time you're arriving I'll have Ric stand at the top of the hill to greet you. I haven't cleared that with Ric yet but I'm sure he'll be okay with that. Tony and I will be too busy drinking beer, smoking and telling lies. :drunk:

The Fair Field by Marriot, I will get the number and the date and time to call to get on the waiting list. Last year is was a week later and started at 8:00 a.m., I set the alarm on my phone and was first to call and first on list.Tofu is made from soybeans, water and a coagulant, or curdling agent. It is high in protein and calcium and well known for its ability to absorb new flavors through spices and marinades and taste like crap.

We since I'm the youngest and best looking and in the best shape I can see why you picked me...I'm honered.

Also, I want to thank everyone for the all the cards and email supporting me with the issue with the burned out light on my AM radio. After many hours and many many dollars I know have it fixed and it is now road worthy. And Brian as for the extended warrany, it was not offered, and when I did ask for a CARFAX it looked like it was hand written and he told me it was just the font he used to print it out. Check out the pics of the radio light and tail light fixed....sweet. ha
