This is at the North American International Auto Show here in Michigan. We are probably going to go when it opens to the public. I know that the media preview starts tomorrow. It's not a bad ride, only 20 minutes from our house to COBO Hall where it is held. I know that they have been doing all the "pre-shows" for all the people with the big bucks.

We will probably be overwhelmed with news on all the new cars, especially being here. I want to see what they did to the new Chevy Trucks, supposed to have the 2014 come out in mid year with a lower sticker price.

I am in love,and the revival of the Stingray name seals the deal.

Im not usually a Corvette fan but that thing loks mean ,I like it .

If I had the money I don't think I would buy one. Too many nicer cars out there for the money. Plus I'm 6'4" tall and taller from the waist up, so most new cars do not have enough head room for me.

grumpy has the same problem as you Ray. Many of the newer cars he hits his head on, even some of the trucks.

I hear you. Had to buy a Toyota Tundra because it was the only truck at the time I could sit in back in 05. My new company Ford F250 finally has enough head room for me now to get in and out. My company 2008 Dodge I would hit my head getting in it if I was not careful. My wife Ford Escape also have plenty of room for me even with a sun roof.

Ray, believe it or not, my 2008 Toyota Yaris is big enough, and has the head room for David. We were both stunned that he fit into it.

Back to the Corvette. Is it just me, or does the back end look a little like the styling of the Camaro ?

I just got back from the North American Auto Show supplier day and I have to tell you the pictures of the new Corvette do not do it justice. They have a gray one with the normal rims and it looked 100% better than the red one.

My daughter will be at the show in Detroit Friday night.What is wrong with this picture?

That is the charity event and will be televised here on the local ABC station, black tie, furs and the whole nine yards. I got to go to it about 5 years ago and it is sure better than going with commoners...lol

Ray,are you buying that? Nancy,there are really no details on the car yet.No one even knows for sure what they will cost.Ordering should take place in April I want white,tan leather and chrome wheels.

I was at a Chevy dealership in Florida helping my daughter purchase a 2013 Chevy Equinox. She wanted dads help on her first new car purchase. Love to own the Camaro, but not in my budget at this time. Need business to pick up before I can buy a toy like that.
