Hello All 1970 Chevell here!

Hello,

My husband Matt and I just recently bought our 1970 Chevelle this last September. I know the car is older than we are but I guess that ok its still amazing. Chevelle has always been my favorite style of old school car. Where my husband has a thing for Plymouth RoadRunners Superbees, and GTOs but he instantly fell in love with our Chevelle when we saw it!

Hi Mrs.Angel ,and welcome .I like your Malibu and would love to see more pics .

Mrs.Angel 02-08-2013 07:46 PM

I would love to post more pics now but we are in a blizzard warning! It just sucks because we really haven't gotten to drive it since it has been snowing! But its hunkered down in the is heated 4 car garage! I will take pics of it again as soon as I can! I drove it about 2 weeks ago still running great! My husband wont admit that he loves it because he would much rather have a 442 Olds or a Roadrunner!! Oh well someday maybe!!

Hello Mrs. Angel. Welcome ! You have a beautiful Malibu. Sounds like with a 4 car garage maybe you could squeeze a 442 in there for the hubby.

Welcome from another 70 owner. Nice looking 70 you have. 4 car garage would be nice to have for some more toys.

Yeah the 4 car garage help we currently have a project 1957 Chevy pickup... His baby I guess I'm not a fan of it cause it gets like 7-10mpg but it's his thing I guess! I'm supposed to weld in some floor panels for him!

flash 02-09-2013 07:30 AM

When you get a chance for more pics ,how about some of the truck too? We like projects and I like old trucks too.

Mrs.Angel 02-09-2013 10:59 AM

Oh I will its not as pretty by any means it's a rust bucket! But my work said we could bring it in and sand blast it! The fuel line or something came out and or the carburetor caught on fire around dec so we are in the process of repairing the engine parts!

Ms Grumpy 02-09-2013 07:00 PM

Mrs Angel, we like all pics, the good the bad and the ugly. Many times the pics that we think look bad are learning tools for many of us. If you look thru some of the other forums you will see pics of cars in all different phases of construction or deconstruction.

Welcome, I think the car looks great! Especially with the old school cragars set up, I wouldn't mine putting them on my car either.

Good looking car !

Mrs.Angel 03-03-2013 01:20 PM

Thank you for! Our Chevelle has the original Cowl Induction on the hood and still functions if we could figure exactly how to hook it up does anyone have pointers.

flash 03-03-2013 02:13 PM

Shadowgray(Ray) would probably be able to help you with the Cowl Induction as he just finished restoring a 70 .Im sure he will stop by this post .

Ms Grumpy 03-03-2013 05:39 PM

I agree with flash. You could also send him a PM and see if he can help.

shadowgray396 03-03-2013 09:39 PM

I can help if you need it. First step will be to figure out if all the parts are still there. The cowl hood is probably not original to the car, since it is a malibu model.
