I had a really nice reply typed in, and when I tried to send it, it timed out. And the next two times I tried to post, it timed out. Then I was just too pissed to even post. I hate sites with as many ads as there are posts.

I know that I was asked to take site address off of my signature line a while back. But it is amazing to me how others have their sites in their signatures.

She likes it! I have definitely enjoyed driving it!! Took it to B'ham & Chattanooga on the Power Tour and drove it to Roanoke, AL last weekend for a funeral.

As far as ready to race.....

I have this little gem waiting to drop in in a couple weeks!!

It won't make as much power (yet) as the Chevelle but with less weight and no tire, it'll be a hand-full!

Was this a general reply to the thread or in response to something someone said? I didn't feel like combing through the whole thread, just trying to get some context about what happened.

grandsport was "suspended" from TC for saying something that someone didn't like. And honestly, I didn't think it was bad. Long story short.

Pretty sure there's a little more to it than that.

Not really.They don't like certain people voicing their opinion.

I asked in that thread why you were suspended and Dean said he figured it was because of your comment, he in another post said he since "found out why" eluding to the fact that it was something other than what you said in that thread.

It was probably Tom Mobley who did the deed. I think he enjoys his moderator powers just a little too much.

It took me a while to figure that out. Pretty soon if they keep on, TC will become like dictionary, a dormant book. I have argued several time with Dean That half the stuff they monkey with could just as well be left alone, and probably would die on the vine in short while, but they feel compelled to move stuff and piss people off and why I cant figure it out.

Last week I posted a question about a Brass Y Block for a Holley, and I put it where i wanted it, and some jerk wad, probably Mike from earth moved it and never got another response. I'm 58 years old, I know where I want to post something, but they think they know better than us where we need something.

when they banned me a while back, I emailed the Administrator and copied Dean in and asked form my money back and to have my account wiped out and never heard from anyone.

There used to be as many people on at 6 in the morning that are on there now at 6 in the evening, I see the numbers dropping for a long time.

Pretty soon all the moderators will have to moderate will be themselves

As least in my case, I've met numerous TC members at Chevelle~abration and the Regional Chevelle shows over the years. It was nice to put a face with a screen name.
Now with the demise of ACES, and lots of guys not supporting or unable to attend the remaining widespread Regional shows, the personal interaction and friendships with others online will no longer develop.

Bill I agree. It was nice to go to shows and meet people. I met flash and the Mrs at the NOCC show. They are two of the best people that I am fortunate to call my friends.
I will miss Chevellabrations, but it looks like the NOCC might be starting a show in June, or at least they did the being of this month. And being that I am only about 3 hrs from them I would make the trek to meet more people.

See if ya'll come to the Mid-America Regional this year you can get to see my bright smiley face, Bil has already seen mine but that no reason not to come to the show. We changed our venue this year Bill!

Unfortunately, that is the same weekend as the NC Chevelle Club show held @ Hendricks Motorsports complex in Charlotte.
My wife does the car photos for this show...and has done so for many years. That club's "trophies" are actually plaques with a personalized photo of the winner's car on the front. All car pics are taken that morning before entering the show field. Cool idea actually.
She's gotta be there...as do I. ;)
