Hey Grandsport...look here!!!

Hey Gary,
Spotted this on I-75 in KY just south of Cinci while driving my Chevelle back last Sunday from the NOCC show.
Had a KY Dealer Temp tag on it. We exchanged thumbs up.
Looks good!!! Bowtie smiley

Must have been leaving the factory.I am really starting to get anxious.

BillsCamino 08-06-2013 03:37 PM

Actually...heading South on I-75/I-71 just below Cinci....maybe returning back to Bowling Green via I-71S/I-65S. ;)
Awesome car!!

grandsport 08-06-2013 04:13 PM

I bet that thing looks awesome coming up fast in your rear view mirror!

BillsCamino 08-06-2013 04:34 PM

I did notice it has a string of LED daytime running lights on each front corner.
Vette looked better pacing next to it two lanes over for a couple miles. We were both running 80 mph...the wagon only has 2.56 gears. :)
It didn't have a Mfg tag...it was a Temp Dealer tag so somebody may have gotten a new toy.
Or some high volume KY Chevy dealer got one of the 1st production ones.

Too early for cars to be released to the public.

Somebody already wrecked one earlier this week in Detroit...

Safety engineers from General Motors are taking a hard look at a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray that was involved in the car's "most serious" real-world crash to date.
The Corvette was involved in a crash with a Lincoln Town Car last week in a Detroit suburb.
A GM spokesman said that the Corvette was being driven by an unidentified GM employee as part of the automaker's captive test fleet when the crash occurred.

I wonder who was at fault. And I agree with Gary, look at the damage on the Lincoln.

The damage on the Lincoln is front clip, hood and maybe fenders. They're designed to collapse. The vette doesn't look that but who knows how much damage the frame sustained. I'd bet the cost to fix the vette is more.

BillsCamino 08-08-2013 07:19 PM

With all that tire in contact with the pavement, I'd guess it would be hard on any vehicle trying to push a Vette sideways.
