I hate smart @$$ people! you ask a question and they throw stuff at you that you are not even talking about. I guess i now know why I have like 500 postings over there and well over 1000 here. people over there think they have gold or they are better then everyone. If you dont have an answer to the question why would you post something that no one cares about and be a smart @$$ about it! i think i am just going to stick to the for sale adds and be done with that place

I keep my posts to a minimum there. It's a shame, there are some really knowledgeable people there. But they are far outnumbered by the keyboard warriors. I once had someone tell me they knew more about LS engines because they read LS1 Tech everyday. (He was angry because my stock cube heads and cam car outran his supercharged, cammed, etc. car)

And then you have guys stuck on cam technology from the 60s. Chris Straub seems to he smacking those people down lately thought. (Which is a plus)

yeah its just annoying because i asked a simple question. all you have to do is answer with what you have done i dont need your 2 cents so annoying

Ha ha,the moderators over there suck too.Used to be a great place but all the good people are gone or run off like I was .Mean and hateful place so it is.

There are a lot of knowledgeable people over there but they are out numbered by those that think they know. In the electrical forum someone posted that Chevelles came with generators. I corrected him and said Chevelles all came with alternators. The message didn't stick because a week later he posted the same misinformation again, someone else corrected him again. Just part of reading info on a larger forum. Everyone wants to add their 2 cents even if it's not worth that much. Then you have the people that do know and think you're a moron because you don't.

I guess you could call me one of those "Keyboard Warriors or Posting Wh@&#s". Everyday I read the posts and if it seems to be something that I think others would like to read, or information that you guys have passed on, then I will post to the thread.

I am happy to hear that you like it here. Yes we may not be big, like the other site, but I think the knowledge that you guys possess, and the ability that you have to find the answers, is excellent and very valuable.

I am glad that you choose to "hang out" here. lol

I hang out over there for my friends and just to see whats going on but Im at home here .I come here first ,then over there ,then to the 67-72 truck site and then back here .Im not always posting but Im usually here a while .

We'll leave the light on for ya.

Friends don't bash friends on here, like some sites do. I feel like we are all family here and we have each others back and are supportive no matter what.

I'm betting he did a LOT of "time out" when he was younger.

I got banned from the forum on Muscular Development.com in four minutes. Registered Made one post....went to another site for a minute....went back and was banned. Date to be reinstated: never

The 'other' forum is Team Chevelle, chevelles.com. No sense hiding that info. It's huge and with huge you get everything, whether you like it not. I'm not knocking the site and you guys shouldn't either but it is definitely different than this one. Here people treat each other with respect. Maybe it's because it's still small, we feel like we know each other and treat each other as friends. I like to think of you guys as friends and I don't get that feeling on the 'other' site. Just a bunch of faceless screen names.

So that's that, check it out if you want. You could find it on your own without much effort so no sense trying to hide the info. Hopefully you'll decide this is a little friendlier group and decide to hang out here.

Whoa! 4 pages and this thread isn't very old. I guess we all know how we feel about T/C. I asked to be deleted from there a few years ago because of all the reasons you mentioned here. Too many internet ninjas over with an axe to grind. You guys are a MUCH better group of people.

I was just kidding. TC is painfully slow to load unless you use Firefox or Chrome with adblocker. That helps but it's still slow.

Both sites load equally fine for me. I use Firefox.

Loading speed was about the only problem I never had with TC.lol
