SO what do you think of the 2015 Mustang ?
Ford unveiled the 2015 Mustang this morning. They were trying to give it more of a "retro" look to compete with the success of the Camaro and the Challanger.
What do you think ? Did they succeed ? http://chevelleforum.org/picture.php...pictureid=3745 http://chevelleforum.org/picture.php...pictureid=3746 http://chevelleforum.org/picture.php...pictureid=3744 http://chevelleforum.org/picture.php...pictureid=3747 |
I actually like it and would take this over the Camaro or Challenger and I'm not a Ford guy.
|
it reminds me to much of a Euro car that i can't figure out yet but i know i have seen something in Europe that looks like that, but its not bad looking
|
If they bump the GT up to 500hp (as per rumors) mid-cycle, there is a high probability that I will see one in my driveway. Even if they don't, I am still interested. They added the things that made me sell my 2010 and move back to Acura - proximity key, push button start, ventilated seats, decent nav, etc. It will just depend how many hard surfaces remain on the interior. A hard plastic door panel and console just looks & feels super cheap.

I like it better than the Camaro but liked it better before they rounded the taillight area so much.

finally i figured it out

I like it, Im looking forward to some of the high performance aftermarket models. Ala Shelby.
|
I do like it, might just be one in our future. My wife likes the Mustang she had for 10 years and wants another one.

One engine offered is a 2.3L Turbo 4cyl with 305 HP & 300 ft lbs TQ.
Along with IRS rearend for the 1st time. Interesting... |
Grandsport, I am surprised that you have already decided to sell your car.
When I first saw the Mustang I thought of a Euro car too. I haven't seen a shot straight on the back end. I hate what they did with the Camaro making the back end so wide, and was wondering if they did that with the Mustang too. The interior sure looks busy, but then again I haven't bought a new car in 5 years, so with all the new electronics it probably is no busier than any other new car on the market. |

Thanks Eric, I don't think that they rounded the back end as much as the Camaro.
What year older Mustang do you think this looks the most like, if any ? |
they need to make one that looks like the 71 mach 1

The younger generation is not buying the old retro look, so that is why the change in the look. Plus the suspension did need an upgrade. Most car builders are getting away from making the old style look, it has run it course.
