Wanted: 72 sweep dash
 

Looking for a 72 dash thats not butchered or cracked like mine. If ya got one drop me a line. Thanks

Are you looking for the entire dash carrier? I have one out of a 72 El Camino but I can't remember what condition it is in...

Yup the carrier would be nice. Mine is pretty cracked and I'm missing one of the pieces. I dont need the dashpad.

We're in the middle of an ice storm right now. I'll try to get out and take a look at what I have in the next couple days once the weather cooperates.

Well, I finally made it out to my parts stash. The carrier was cracked. And it is REALLY cracked now. Apparently 30+ year old dash plastic does not like to be moved when it is cold out. It snapped like a twig. Sorry I can't help you out.

I have a decent one in DK Green, It's the lower carrier and the sweep speedo.
I'm sure shipping will be big big $$ from Florida tho.

I didn't forget about your pictures, my hood is currently sitting on the box tho.

If my headers come in from jet-hot today as promised, I hope to have the motor back in and the hood back on this weekend.

Then I can get to the dash to take your pics.

Engine is back in, hopig to have the hood back on tomorrow.

Then I can get to the box with the dash in it.

The only area that appears damaged on the dash is in the corners near the winshield wiper switch as seen below.

Are you sure you posted the pic ? I don't see any.

I posted three on the 14th. They show fine when I bring up the thread.

They are also stored in my garage (which is where I linked them from.)

I am so sorry. Yes it made it here OK. Again thank you so much.

As I mentioned in another thread March, April and May are my busiest times
at work. I am just buried under my work load and health issues and easily
forget things.

Again I'm sorry for not letting you know it arrived in a timely manor.

You didn't need to apologize, I know what it's like to be busy at work. Tomorrow I will miss yet another day of racing for work! @#$!@#%$

Anyways, I hope you can put my old dash to work, maybe someday I'll see it again installed in an old Chevelle or Elky.

Hopefully your health issues get better and don't forget to stop and smell the roses on occasion ( I should practice what I preach more often myself)....
