Out of work again
 

I guess I'm force to sign up for unemployment for the first time since 1981. Work for the last 2 years has been so up and down that I have used up all my vacation just to keep a check coming in. No work tomorrow or next week or longer. This sucks

Man, that sucks Ray. If you do get the UI, can you do any side jobs? It might give you some time to get the other things done around the place, and be kinda like getting paid to do them. Good luck.

I feel your pain, I went without a steady/full time job from April 2009 until June of last year. I hope things change for you soon.

I got called into work today for an over night trip. Got 160 miles from the house and got told the job was cancelled. So I drove 330 miles for nothing, but did get payed for the day. Looks like I have some work next week.

Glad you have some upcoming work Ray ,just try and enjoy your free time ,maybe take the Chevelle for a spin .

10 pepole just got layed off today, I was not one of them, but work is still week to week. Managed to get a full week this week, and a half of a week last week

36 years and my sons who is also there has 15 years. He started a 15 part time. There is only 6 of us left from the field personal.

Headed for a 4 to 6 week project up north next week, will be home on the weekends. Most everyone is coming back for the next few weeks.
