Just a quick note, from the wifes computer. Scum-sucking criminals got into the shop. Stole numerous guns, tools, my computer. More later.

Damn...I hate thieves!!!
My shop out behind the house is monitored by ADT...as is the house. The shop also has motion detecting flood lights on all corners.
Never been any criminal issues around here but 'ya never know...

Cops are working at this. They took prints, but it looks like they wore the gloves they stole from the glove-box of the Gator. We found one glove, one pistol case, and the computer cord in the neighbors back yard. I have a new Dell laptop that I despise. I can't get anything to work like the one they stole. Dell tech is so bad, I'm think I want to just smash this piece of shit and buy something else. No English speaking MF idiots. I can't get my email contacts, deleted email or storage folders back. None of the non-English speaking MF fools can figure it out.

I am so sorry Tony. I know how frustrating it is to lose the information that you have stored on your computer. I am glad that no one was hurt. I hope that they find your stuff.

I appreciate the comments. I got a good lead on the pieces of shit this afternoon. Then I sorta lost my head and went looking for them in a rage. Kathy was real upset that I went, I didn't find them where I thought they would be, came home and Kathy sorta asked me to call the Det, he said I can't hunt them myself. He don't want me to get into trouble is what he keeps saying.

I would not waste a homicide charge and possible jail time on a common thief.

Tony, listen to Kathy. I know how you feel but you don't want to make a bad situation worse. Get that alarm system working and the doors secured, let the police take care of the rest. I don't want to come visit you in jail.

Been scouring the neighborhood all morning for info on the lead I got yesterday. May have come up with something good. Will let the Det handle it tomorrow. I sure as hell want to do my own hunting, but cooler heads have made me slow down some.

Frustrated bad. I gave the Det a 4 page report of things that I found out about here in the neighborhood last week. Yesterday, I gave him another 4 pager, with the names, phone numbers, addresses and face-book pages of the thieves. Almost 100% sure these are the guys. Lots of evidence. The Detective called me at 8 this morning. A citizen found my speed loader ,for the 5 shot undercover special, on the side of the road IN FRONT OF the house of the suspected thief. Also had an anonymous phone call to the Police Dept. this morning from a guy that knows waaay too much to be fake. Detective had court today so he couldn't mess with my case. I have all day to do what I want, but nooooooo, they won't let me go hunting the pieces of shit. I'm fit to be tied, I tell ya!!!Fit to be tied!!!!

How far are they from your house? Is the DET going to follow through?

Contact one of the news stations and tell them your story. You never know might light a fire under the police department.

One lives 1/4 mile from me, the other two live about a mile from me. The Det is supposed to bring the speedloader over this morning for me to identify, then go from there. The law works differently for the punks that are minors. If I even go to their places and question them, I can be arrested for "intimidating a minor". Nothing has shown up on FB with my stuff. Yet. These guys are stupid. One of them posted that he "hit a lick" the day after the burglary. In punk speak, that means he did a b&e.

The real big issue now is you have another stupid person out there with a stolen gun(s). I hope the detective takes this seriously and does something about it.

Yep, you would think that would make the cops real excited about tracking these guys down. Doesn't seem to be the case. Det was here again this morning, he talked to the two kids down the road that yesterday were just full of running their mouth. They denied everything today, they are minors so he can't just take them in for questioning. He has to have the parents permission and the parents have to be there for the interviews. What a crock of shit. Oh yeah, I was warned again today about the trouble that I can get into due to "minor intimidation". Because I suspect the punks, and they know it now, all they have to do is say I threatened them and off to jail I go. I have to avoid intentional contact with them. Bizzaro world I tell ya, bizzaro. What little faith I had in the justice system is rapidly evaporating.

Thanks. I hope so too, but it isn't looking like the cops are working this case at all. Det was supposed to bring the speed loader they found over for me on Sunday to identify Thursday. Didn't hear from him at all. I left him a voicemail late this afternoon, hasn't called back. The Det dept works 9-5 on weekdays and only work weekends and overtime for homicides.
They didn't get into the safe. The handguns were all in cabinets or toolbox's. The shot-guns were in corners. Hidden pretty good I thought.
I too have a list of all my firearms. I had the "green cards" for all handguns. Some dated in the 70"s.
I hate thieves. They make me angry and then I go to my dark spot.

Tony I wish that these cops would take you seriously. If one of these kids used one of the guns in a felony then they would be trying to cover their behinds. Let's hope that doesn't happen.

No. The Detective STILL hasn't brought the speed loader over for me to identify. I offered to got to the PD two weeks ago and identify it, but he said it was locked up in the evidence locker. Then last week, the evidence tech got married and went on her honeymoon. He said he couldn't open the locker. I'm like, WTF, what is someone needs to lock up something? No one else has a key? Last Monday, one of the neighborhood kids was at the County Fair. A punk from the trailer park a few miles down the road offers to sell him two handguns, cheap, one is a 38, other is a 357. Both calibers that were stolen from here. He has PICTURES on his phone. I call the Det, give him the kids name and where he lives. Det says he can't look at the pictures without a warrant. I say, damn, at least go question the kid. He can't interview the punk without the parents consent. His dad is an asshole, won't let cops talk to kid. Like I said, I'm so disgusted with this PD and the "system" it isn't funny. I never should have got the cops involved in the first place. I think I'd have my stuff back and there would be some sorry little thiefs had I handled it myself.

This is so ridiculous. Have you tried writing a letter to the prosecutors office explaining what is going on. I am wondering if you got a bad cop.

The main problems in this Township are lack of funds to have a bigger and better police force and the scum from Flint moving here. We have two Detectives to cover the entire Township. They are way behind on solving cases. The PD has been hit hard with crime rates increasing dramatically. The City of Flint was one of the most segregated in the State. The Feds, in their infinite wisdom, decided to diversify the whole area by moving the scum from the City to the suburbs. It has had dismal effects on us, and all the surrounding small communities. The section eight scum have destroyed the small town atmosphere here, just like every where else they have been moved to. Once beautiful neighborhoods are now shit holes, infested with the scum of the earth. When the scum started showing up, decent people were driven out of their neighborhoods, leaving many homes that were well cared for empty. The empty homes are now occupied by the scum, and most should be condemned. With the scum came increased crime, as always. I could go on and on, but most people reading this will know that I speak the truth, although the liberals and such refuse to see the real world for what it is. There was a damn good reason why it was so segregated around here.

I think stealing a firearm is a FEDERAL offence.

I tried that route almost immediately. A good friend is the Undersheriff here in the County. I called and talked to him about all the B&E's here lately, asking for County help. Bottom line is politics. The Township doesn't want to seem like they can't handle this crime wave, so they will not ask for help. As far as the ATF, this is small potatoes to them, so they won't get involved.


I just left a local car show. A friends place, along with two others in the same subdivision, got hit for guns, knives, and tools Friday night. The more people that I talk to, the more stories I am hearing about just how bad it is getting around here. We, as a neighborhood, need some rights restored so we can protect our property and maybe some vigilante style justice be handed out. I will definitely approach the Township Board about all this shit at the next meeting. I attend almost of the meetings and haven't heard one thing about all this going on. I've had to do all my own investigating, which seems ridiculous to me.

Maybe a article to the Flint Journal will get something going....they love this kind of stuff.

I still think that you should contact the news. Even if it is to go to the Township Board Meeting and see how you are not getting anywhere with the police and what is going on in the community. It is just so frustrating to see what is going on. The people who have anything worth any value have to pay even more to protect your things. And even if you have an alarm system it still doesn't keep the theives out of their home. I am frustrated for Tony, these thieves are getting away with it because no one wants to talk.

Gary, I agree with flash on this one. I should be able to enjoy the things that I have instead of having to hide them. In that case why would I buy things in the first place.

On a personal note. Many years ago when times were tough for me I lived in Detroit. The day I moved into the house it was broken into and the thieves took my stuff still in boxes. As I met the few neighbors that would talk to me, I saw much of my stuff in their homes. I was told that it was not uncommon for the thieves to break into one house and go to the next to sell it. In the one year I lived there my home was broken into 13 times. I did not have the money to move and my brother Eric offered to help me get out by sharing a house with me in a better neighborhood. That was over 22 years ago and I still worry about my current home being broken into.

I now live in a nice community, with a great police department who responds within minutes. But I still park another car in front of my garage door because I want to wake up and still have my Malibu in the garage.

I think we all need to remember that this thread is about helping Tony get his stuff back.

Tony I also blame the thieves and their parents. Having lived in the city of Detroit many years ago I saw first hand how parents taught their children how to "use the system" to collect assistance. I also watched parents teach their kids how to break into a house and tell them that because they were minors that they could get away with it because the parents would not let the police talk to them. I saw 10 and 12 yr old kids breaking into houses. It was crazy. I hope you keep on the police and if nothing else, find and prosecute those little thugs.
