this thing is driving me insane. Its taking place about 3 miles from my parents house and about 15 miles from my house. Everyday they are shutting down roads and they actually closed a lot of the schools around me and it finally hit home when they closed my wife's school where my daughter attends. Its some scary stuff to see this nation wide news going on in my back yard!

I have been watching that on the news ,cant believe he is still on the run .Stay safe up there .

yeah i personally think he is in canada or mexico by now. it took them 4 days to figure out who he was you can do a lot in those 4 days

See it on the news and even in the local paper. I think they'll get him, I don't think he left the area. He's a survivalist and probably thinks he can outsmart the police but the police aren't going to give up.

Crazy world we live in these days... guys like this, people rioting, beheadings in the heartland, etc.

They still haven't caught him as far as I've seen. This guy is either already dead and they haven't found the body, or REALLY good at hide and seek.

This is crazy. They will spend that much money on something like this while we have veterans homeless and starving. Sorry, I know that the publics safety is an issue, and he needs to be caught, but am I the only one who thinks this is crazy.

I hope they find a way for the kids to celebrate Halloween. Either that or why don't parents take their kids during daylight hours ?

This guy still hasn't been caught! And has even been dubbed the "wilderness ninja." I condemn what he did, but am impressed by his ability to evade the authorities.

I agree dude is in canada watching the local news on the internet laughing. All i know is that the government has spent 1.1 million a week looking for this guy and its going on 41 days now. So that is what 5.5 million so far spent. I dont want to hear a word when they say that they need more money

yeah now they are doing a fund raiser for him. it was to be 2500 and its now at 15,000 and now on top of that someone stole a 2012 porche and they think its frien and they found it in upstate NY lets hope they stay in NY lol

Yup, saw it online a few hours ago. Unreal it took so long to find him.

And now we are going to pay for a trial and then pay to encarcerate him. So sad.

That's why I said it's unfortunate there was no gun play and he's still alive. Of course that means no more police were put in harms way capturing him so that's good.
