What do you do to get rid of the worst headache/migraine ever?

Take 1600mg of ibuprofen, lie down, and turn out the lights and relax for about an hour until the ibuprofen kicks in. The key is not to tense because of the pain but to relax.

Along with that a cold wash rag on the forehead can help some too.

I pop one 500mg naproxen pill and I'm good in a little while.

Put Mr. Grumpy on an airplane!:)

Had migraines my entire life. Imtrex is the ANSWER for me. They say it doesn't work for everyone but has for me over the years. Hope you're on an insurance plan though, they are PRICEY! (10-12 bucks a pill) need Dr. scrip.

The migraine is not mine, but it is bad. They have had migraines since the age of 15. It has been going on for this person for over 12 days, been to the hospital, doctors and am now trying homeopathic meds. Looking for any help possible. I would never wish this upon anyone after seeing the pain it has caused and is still causing.

One of the uses for medicinal marijuana is for migraines. I am told it works very well, by a very reliable source.

Goodies powders work for me . If you need some I keep plenty .

X2 on the Goody powders. Take one, if the headache is not gone in 15 minutes, take another. Each powder has 260 mg Aceteminophen, 520 mg of asperin, and 32.5 mg of caffein.
Lay down in bed with the light off, no noise, and put the cold wet face cloth over your forehead and eyes.
Works wonders.
They don't sell Goody powders out west or up north though, I don't believe.
My MIL gets severe migraines along with a large spike in her BP. She has to go to the doctor and get a shot that knocks her out.
Luckily she doesn't get them real often.

I think it's an eastern product only. I saw it at a store in D.C. when the wife and I were on vacation last year. I was wondering what it was for when I saw it on the shelf.
