Job Interview
 

Just got back and it went really well. If i take the job i'll be working on ATM machines and i'll have a company vehicle to tool around in. I don't think ATM machines are going away anytime soon and the company is nationwide with a good reputation.

Good deal. I use to do computer maintenance, decades ago. Like every job it had it's good points and bad points, overall I enjoyed it.

What will you be doing on them Gary?

One of the previous electrical contractors I worked for had me put in a short school to learn ATM's as well. I was the guy that got to run all over the country it seemed to install ATM's in drive thru banks and what not. I did most of my work for Diebold. They were fun to work on, and I got into an amazing amount of tunnels under the drive thru's all over. After some of what I have seen, I know I wouldnt go through a door to rob a bank anymore ;)

You'll likely learn this too Gary if you do some bank work

Congrads! And I agree ATM are here to stay esp. since alot of people I know are getting rid of plastic and using paper money instead.

I'll be repairing them if i get the job. They're all over the place for sure. I was told that Diebold and (i think ) NCR are the two who make most of em. They go through an extensive check including a credit history and lie detector test before they hire.

Good Luck! ATM machines are something that alot of people count on, and like you said I don't see them going away anytime soon.

Thats great news Gary, you will enjoy working on those units. Plus you will see a diffrent side of things, behind the scenes in banks and other places, keeps life interesting for sure.

I got to ride with one of the guys last monday and it was pretty cool. Lots to learn and lots of responsibility but i'm up for it.

Glad to hear it Gary, glad to hear any good news these days. :D I'm sure you'll enjoy it. It will be frustrating sometimes, when you just can't figure out what's wrong, but when you do figure it you get a feeling of satisfaction. You found the problem and you fixed it, good luck.
