Schwartz Performance 1967 Chevelle build
Hey guys. Just wanted to pop in and post up some pictures of a project we're working on. This is a 1967 Chevelle that has a 509 BBC that we are putting a twin turbo system on, making roughly 1500HP. It is getting a Schwartz Performance full roller chassis with 14in Baer brake upgrade, Vintage Air climate controls, RideTech air ride system, BeCool radiator, TEC3 EMS among other things.
On to the pics though..... How we got the "restored" Chevelle. Looks good right? http://www.schwartzperformance.com/userfiles/jakew.jpg What media blasting uncovered was scary.... http://www.schwartzperformance.com/userfiles/00a(1).jpg http://www.schwartzperformance.com/userfiles/000b.jpg http://www.schwartzperformance.com/userfiles/000c.jpg http://www.schwartzperformance.com/userfiles/0d10.jpg http://www.schwartzperformance.com/userfiles/0d9.jpg More to follow.... |

What do you guys think? |
The last 6 are hosted at ImageShack because they were taken today and have not been uploaded to our site yet.
Just a FYI! |
Holy crap, now thats a project. Thanks for posting.

Yeah we don't mess around over here. We do things BIG! :)
WOW !!! What else can I say.
Now that is a project....I really like the newer Camaro wheels on the early Chevelles.
None of the wheels shown are the final wheels. Right now they're covered in padding to protect them, but I'll get pics when I can.
Your signature says it all. Nice machine. :D
Those would be the wastegates.
I was hoping when I saw that it said newest member "ryne@schwartz" that would be someone from schwartz performance!!! Outstanding to have you here my friend. I just drool and dream over every single thing you guys build. Outstanding build quality for sure
Thank you very much piette. That is a huge compliment. Hopefully we can keep posting some sweet projects for you guys.
Incredible looking ride! That should be some fun driving!
I like the role bar.Or is it a cage?Is it a kit or you custom bend it?
It's a kit that we got for this. We don't have the ability to do those bends, just normal cages.
Awesome project! That is already way baddass, can't wait to see the finished product!

Absolutely Love what you have done with the Twin Turbo`s!! Always been a fan of Turbo`s from way back in the Seventies. Had a good friend that worked for Mark Williams back in the day we did a 67 Nova 370 Twin turbo. Yikes!!!

Good looking build!

Once it's painted, the interior will go back in, and then all the small detail stuff will be tackled. |
