New Here

But not to chevelles/el caminos. Rick here from Abilene TX. I'm retired USAF and currently working as an electronic tech for the USPS. I've owned my el camino for 20 or 21 years (my how time flies). I bought it stock (350 2bbl/350) with approx 48k on it. Drove it that way for 3 or 4 years and then started fixing things (that weren't broke) to my liking. Currently it has a TPI 350/700r4 in it.

A little over a year ago, I pulled the motor & front clip to replace the tranny and one thing led to another. Its been mostly sitting in that time but I am starting to find time for it again.

Like Grumpy, I met my wife at the drag strip. i was working there & she came to the races with a co-worker and left with me :D That was 1967, we've been married 41 years come November.

I'm not an expert on anything, but give me a book & internet connection and I'm not afraid to tackle anything........so I may be looking for some of you to bail me out  . And I'll help when I can. Thanx for having me Waving

Rick,

Gary is being to hard on himself, but he is expert on Beanie Babies and if there is anything you want to know about them...he is your guy. Also, I think he said he had a extensive Barbie and Ken collection as well.

You buy a size 6 for her and when she complains that it does not fit, you act surprised and say, "It doesn't? I thought you were a size 6! Well, you are a size six to ME, babe!"

All is well with the universe when you do that.

Mike that is a good one...my wife thinks I would have her dressed up as nun.

grandsport 06-25-2010 09:32 PM

Mike,I think you know the type of clothes I buy for Maureen.

Talk about hi-jacking a thread,I better not go in to my manicures.:p
