Do you know old trucks?

This is a picture of my father, his sister, and my grandmother. I think the truck belonged to my great-grandfather and was curious about what it is.

Any idea what it is? Pic is from 1950 or so...

Show me a pic of the front! LOL

Seriously I would go with Dodge about '37 . Chevys had a bowtie just above the hood ribs and the headlights sat wider on the fenders

I wish I had more pictures of the truck. This is the only picture. It was given to me by a relative, and only after looking at it by chance yesterday did I notice what the truck may be.

My grandfather (dad's dad) took the picture, you can see his shadow in the foreground.

My grandfather was from Ionia, Michigan. He came back from WW2 and wound up leaving home, in Ionia, perhaps out of boredom. He actually followed the circus out of town. Some time later he was in Syracuse NY at the state fair, and met my grandmother there. The story goes that she worked there with her father's business, selling potato chips and snacks...they fell in love, etc.

When I looked at this picture yesterday, I realized that the truck in the background is probably their truck.

That is why I was wondering what it is.

Thanks for the help.

Looking at some old dodge truck pictures it looks like the 37 had three louvers on the hood and the 41 had 4 or 5. I guessing 41 at this point.

I was counting louvers too. I say Dodge, right in that era of late 30s to early 40s.
