Flowmaster Super 10's ( single chamber ) - Question

I pulled off the no name mufflers that came with the car....only had her about a month now...and put on a set on Super 10's. Sounds great at idle but on the fly, sounds pretty awful. I'm thinking the original turndown set up, in front of the rear axle is part of the problem. Way too much interior "vibration" at certain rpm's. Any ideas from you guys? Anyone else running these?

I have not heard of the flowmaster 10's but I have used the 40,50 and 70 series. The older I get, the more i dislike flowmasters. The resonating drives me nuts. Think I am gonna try some of the Magnaflows on our 72 next.

Sorry, I'm not much help but maybe you dislike the resonance too.

When I buy new mufflers they'll be pypes mufflers www.pypes.com

Those flowmasters aren't doing you a bit of good.

Yes....that is the main issue....it's pretty bad at certain rpms.
