Bikes on the Bricks..Flint

We rode the HD down to the BOTB Show yesterday. They figure there were 1000 bikes. Lots of guys there that I haven't seen in years. Pretty good show. The bike that I built for a guy last Winter did pretty good on the dyno. 113 HP to the rear wheel. The bike surprised a lot of spectators. Made me kinda proud.

That's a lot of bikes. Pretty lousy weather yesterday, at least it didn't rain. Is BOTB like Back to the Bricks? Do they block off Saginaw and everybody walks the streets?

Got to see some of your old cellmates, I mean friends, sounds like a good day.

Well, Mister Smarty Pants Hank...there weren't any of my old "cellmates" there. However, I did see a few old "chain-gang" helpers from days gone by. A couple of my old "litter picker-upper pals" were also present. Well, mabey if the "cellmates" had finished their sentences too, they could have enjoyed the festivities with us.
Yes, they do the same deal as BTTB. Lots easier to find a parking spot though. They announced yesterday that there were 2500 bikes, but todays paper says 1000. I think the 25 was the total for Fri and Sat combined. Weather was cold and cloudy, but as you say, no rain. Just a few lite sprinkles on the way home. Kathy said going 80 to 90 in the wet stuff wasn't too much fun though.

Tony, I was down there for a couple of hours and thought I may run into you. I can't believe the diversity of people that were there..bike clubs (black and white) , Gold Wing clubs, bikers for christ, sport bikes, cops from all over. I did enjoy the cops doing the precision riding. I talked to a guy selling a 2002 Fatboy that I really liked and got his number. Went in the Churchills and had a sandwich and beer and then headed home.

I did go over to the dyno and was very impressed in some of the speeds they were getting to.

Mister Smarty Pants? Seriously Tony, that's the best you can do? I expect better than that from Kathy. :D Come on, let her rip, I deserve it.

BTW: It's just talk, please don't come down here and kick my ass. :)

Hey Ric...Lots of stuff to see there. Kathy said that I don't stand out at all, appearance wise, among most of the people that were there. Unlike Frankenmuth.
Hank...Yeah, that was kinda lame. How about "HEY HANK...YOU MFN27%^&#@*__*$ @SS HOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm too old to do too much as kickin anymore. Only for serious things now.
