Last ride

It's cold and windy but sunny. So I backed the Chevelle out, dusted it off and dumped some SeaFoam in the tank.

First stop, AutoValue to pick up some filters. On my way out a guy walked in and said "I like your car."

Second stop CVS, Lynda went in to pick up a prescription. Two ladies walked by on their way to their car. They stopped and looked at the car and started talking to each other about, then said "Great car."

Third stop was the post office, Lynda went in to get some stamps. Guy walked by, gave the thumps up and said "Nice car.

Fourth stop was the card shop.

Fifth stop was the bank. The lady in the drive through next to us yelled over "Nice car" and the teller commented too.

I'm really disappointed in the fourth stop, no one said a word. :D Of course no one walked by where I was parked but still, we were on a roll.

I have to agree it is a nice looking car. Sounds like a nice day. We are at 19 degrees and cold. Not normal for us.

The clouds have moved in and it's only 32 here. It was cold earlier but a 454 throws a lot of heat so no problem

I have to admit I jealous, I long for the day when I can finally drive my car again. Keep hitting road blocks.

Still working on mechanical issues (front end, motor) and the interior is not in yet, or any of the windows.

How long has the project been?

It will be 5 years on December 28th, on my birthday. My original plan was to have it finished, that's not going to happen.
