Running plug wires
Thinking of re-running my wires. Right now they go over the valve covers, was thinking of making my own to run along side of the covers to give it a cleaner look. Anyone have experience with this or suggestions? Pros/cons?

You can buy them pre-made to fit around the covers. My new set is a Taylor spiro core that fit just fine. I'm using aluminum looms that bolt to the two bottom valve cover bolts and hold all the wires in place so they don't get burned by the headers.

Mine are a pre-made set, also taylor wires. They are routed along the bottom of the valve covers with one of those $15 kits. These in the picture are Accel wires, I guess it shows that most companies make wire sets that fit in this manner, or like Rattler posted.

Engine porn! Real nice. Sorry off topic, but what kind of gas mileage you all getting with those Holley carbs? Im considering a Holley or Qjet.

I'm running The Proform Holley. It's a damn nice carb for for racing, but not so great for street use since it has no choke what so ever. My mileage is horrid since it's a 11.5 to 1 383, but it gets me there quickly with a smile on my face. LOL

Here is a pic of mine. The look much cleaner tucked away

I've never calculated mileage on mine. It isn't something I'd like to know either. :D
