Swap Meet Season
Swap meet season has officially began around here. Drove about 150 miles to go to the first one yesterday. Took my truck and utility trailer and 3 other guys. Filled the truck and trailer full of parts. I only need a few small parts, but ended buying two doors for all the window parts for my car. The guy didn't want to haul them home so I got them for $25 for the pair. Also found the reverse lockout linkage. Lots of parts you could buy, but I didn't need to drag home a bunch of stuff just to keep piled around the house. Rained all the way home, but better then snow.

I remember when I first got my car many, many years ago. I went to a swap meet and found a set of 1972 unregistered plates for my car. I still have them in the original package, and I don't know why I never put them on.
I hope that this year we find what we are looking for. What is that ? Whatever looks good, is priced right, that maybe, one day we will use. Don't laugh, you guys do that too. |
I need to sell some parts so I can go buy more parts.
