Joplin, MO

Have you seen the news of tornado damage there, unbelievable?

Where do you start, how does a community deal with that kind of devastation? Whole communities/sub-divisions leveled. I saw tornado damage at my grandparent's house when I was a teenager, 1967. They lived on Anchor Bay, Lake St. Clair, north of Selfridge air base. Fortunately it was not a highly populated area. I saw some amazing stuff but nothing even close to what happened in Joplin. Don't know what else to say, my heart goes out to the people there.

The weather has caused so much damage world wide. This last week has had leveled a Hospital and caused so much damage right here in the US. You see the pictures of the devastation, and wonder how people survived. But they do, and they need our positive thoughts and prayers.

Thank you Hank for reminding all of us to think of others.

That was a truely devastating storm ,dont know how they will ever recover from it. When we have these kinds of disasters why dont we get offers of foreign aid like we give to other countrys ?My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in all the storm areas nationwide.

It's amazing how much damage has been done by the storms this year.
