It's almost June?

Crazy weather this year all over. We have had lots of rain like everyone else. But friday it was only 43 for the high up in the hills where I have been working with hail most of the day. We have had some of the worst thunder storms I have every seen around here this year. Sunny days are few and only one or two days in the week. We should be running 68 to 75 around here and we are barely at 58 most days. Does make you wonder what is going on with the weather all over the country.

Hope everyone is enjoying the 3 day weekend and lets not forget the one who are serving this country (and their families) and the ones who have served our country so we can live like we do today.

We had 80 degrees, next day 50, next day 40's. Temps have been below normal but the rain has been the worst. Can't seem to go more than 24 to 36 hours without rain. Rain yesterday morning, a little break then rain again. Rain this morning, been dry most of the day but it's all overcast and supposed to rain again. If you get a couple hour stretch without rain you better run out and cut the grass because who knows when your next chance will be.

The past few days I was gone. I drove 9 hours each way, through Ohio and Pennsylvania. We were amazed at the amount of standing water, even ran through some on the Ohio Turnpike. The rain was relentless, and of course it didn't start til after it got dark. It wasn't bad on the way there. But on the way back, I was towing a trailer that was full of heavy boxes. And the lighting and road markings on the Ohio Turnpike really suck. At one point on the drive the rain was coming down so hard it was blinding.

I thought that APRIL SHOWERS bring May flowers. Isn't it almost June ? Rain, Rain, go away !

No! But I'm tired of hearing about you sitting on the porch while we're either drenched in rain or sweltering in the heat with no power. J/K, good that someone is having nice weather.
