Kids are moving on...

So I have been having a rough couple of weeks here. Back in the beginning of this year my oldest daughter Jennifer decided that she wanted to relocate to Las Vegas. Her lease was up the end of June and she stayed with us, on the bottom bunk in my son's room for the past month. Now that is not the hard part for me. The hardest part is that Jennifer is the oldest of my 6 kids and been through the most with me.

I know that it may not be a big deal to some. But I have always had my family close and now my kids are going to be all over the country. I already have a son in Texas, now Jennifer will be in Nevada. And in the next month one of my other daughters, Lacie, will be moving to New York and taking my grand daughter with her.

It's hard when our kids move away. Mine daughter finished college and within two weeks moved to Orando Florida, now been two years. I never imaged our kids would move that far away. Don't get to see her as much as I would like to and my other daughter is in Atlanta some where. She likes to travel around, free spirit one.

Yes, Jennifer is my free spirit. She moved out to go to college and has always managed to live on her own. At 27 she wanted a change, she wants to be a cabana girl and make lots of cash. She is an experienced bar tender, and she is definitely a beautiful girl .

I am happy she is taking a chance, but it is hard that she is so far away. My only sigh of relief is the fact that her boyfriend went with her. They are probably on the road as I write this. They made it into Iowa this morning.
