My 70 Elky
My 70 Elky. I have had it since 2005. Ran 15.1/91 at infrequent track outings on old TA Radials. Some DRs would have gotten mid 14s from her. In 2009 it featured mild 454 power. Well into the 12s. 2010 will have a tougher but sane engine.
http://www.chevelles.com/forums/cust...pic26859_1.gif another shot, this time without DRs mounted http://images22.fotki.com/v752/photo...thad002-vi.jpg and I have had the 68 Vette since 1991, brought it back from the dead http://images31.fotki.com/v1050/phot...DvrSide-vi.jpg |
Thanks for pics, you have a couple of nice looking cars. Had a 73 Vette for a few years but it had to go. Needed work, living in an apartment, all that stuff. It was no 68 Vette but still fun to drive.

Nice looking rides.

Great pic's George! What color is that on your El Meano? I like it...

The car and truck are both looking good George!:D

Classic,
I have no idea what the color is. Fairly close to Astro Blue but when beside TOG's 66 in Astro Blue (middle pic)...nowhere near matching. I am sure you'll agree that the color combo it currently wears is better than code 45 Seafoam Green/saddle bench it came with. It looks WAY BETTER in pics and bright sun than in person. Time for body and paint. Strange, that does not make the Elky go any faster. Greg, Thanks much for the complements. I expect you'll see the Vette at a BBQ or something like that in 2010. |
Nice cars!! I really like the 'vette man. Sooooo fine.

With a cam change and mini blower I wonder what 454V1 would do? Are the gears turning yet George?
