The Subject Of Sex With A 19 Year Old
 

Well we had dinner with Chase who is a foster kid we have taken an interest in and spend time with once a week .He brought up the subject of sex and told us he and his lady friend are not yet active in that regard and the following conversation was quite funny as we never expected to be giving advice to a 19 year old about not having sex until after his studies are finished .I told him he would be much better off to think with the right head and he cracked up but agreed .We had several good laughs during this conversation and the talk was easier than I would have thought but he is open to any discussion .He is an interesting kid to say the least .Waving

Young person" "Ewwww, gross!!!"

I think someone fixed it for me ,I hope . It was a crazy night last night but not that crazy.

But I will tell you flash that abstinence for a 19 year old can be wishful thinking. I sincerely hope that he will, but I think that maybe considering a trip to planned parenthood, or at least going onto their site, may give you a better insight into the next conversation.

Believe me, I didn't want to have this conversation with my son when he was younger, but I did. I even went to the store and bought him protection. It was really awkward because I bought a few different boxes. I didn't know which one to get. I just asked him to always carry one in his wallet.
