Ford Model T video
This video was sent to my by Ms flash. It is so cool to watch what these people did in assembling a car many years ago. Look at how hard they had to work, and the speed at which these cars were put together. Stay til the end of the video to see how brave they were when driving these Model T's. I hope you enjoy.

It's a cool video to watch, but not the most historically accurate I've ever seen... ;)
The production videos bounce around a bit with most of it being from 1926 and ~1918, with a little bit of 1924 in a few places, and 1927 where the 15,000,000th car is shown. |
I agree Derek, but what I loved was watching the assembly line and I think that one of the first ones is actually sitting in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. We have seen it many times, but to actually see it, how it was used all those years ago was really cool.

I've seen that car there too... red early 1909, serial #839 and a very rare "2-pedal" car, which had 2 pedals and 2 levers for the transmission (and 2 more levers on the steering column and a steering wheel, making your arms really busy :D ) After the first 900-ish cars, they used a pedal for reverse instead of a lever.
Here's a discussion about that car... http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/29/35743.html |
