Will I be the only one here? Maureen and I are spending a quiet evening home,haven't gone out on amateur night for a least 10 years. Chinese take out and Coors Light for us tonight. Happy New Year to all of my friends here!Waving

You again?

Well I guess we are with ya grandsport. I picked up my grand daughter, who is still visiting from New York, and will be with us for the next 3 days. I watched the Happy New Year celebration at 8 am from Australia so I am good. I am recording the Dick Clark New Years Celebration for the kids.

Hope to be in bed by 11. I did my partying when I was younger. Hey get this, my daughter Lacie moved to New York this year, and was actually gonna fly here to celebrate the New Year cause everything was so expensive in NY. Then my other daughter Jennifer moved to Las Vegas this year and was asking her friends if there was anything fun to do on New Years. Then she decided to work tonight and in the morning (bartender). Funny thing is according to a national poll the #1 place to celebrate is Las Vegas and the #2 place is New York. Kids......

Spending the night at the beach house in the cold. So far we have only been able to get it up to 60 degress with space heaters all day. Most of the house is gutted for the remodel and we only have two rooms with sheet rock on them. Plan to spend a quiet night watching movies and taking it easy. Most likely will be a sleep when the New Year comes in.

Ya I know, and I know you are kidding. When you come out this way some day, I will have a place you can stay.

Is that an open invitation for free room and board ? LOL . We went over to a neighbors home for a nice evening with one other couple from the same subdivision for a few hours and now Im here playing on the internet.

Sounds like that Beach House would be a great place for a get together.

Only if it shuts down by 10 pm.:p
