Engine is finally in!

Alright I decided to upload a few pics of the engine and the cowl hood that was hand painted. I tell ya Tim is a mater with paint. I know the tires aren't the original ones for a 71, but I think they just look better.

Doesn't bother me one bit that they're for a 70. I feel they look and go better on the 71 than the dishes. Also gonna retain the front bench for other uses. Chuckle. Just two weeks left and I'll have full pics, video and dirving impressions.

Ummm... those are the correct style/type wheels for a 71' - 72' SS Chevelle. Not sure who told you otherwise. :confused:
Engine looks good, it appears you have a 67' - 69' style intake manifold on it. (high rise vs. the 70' & later low rise intakes) |
