Computer problems suck !
 

For the past few days I have been battling with our wireless modem. It just does not want to play nice with my computer. Now everyone elses computers, ipods and nook all are in the "in" crowd, but I am the outcast. I am making grumpy, grumpyerr....if that is possible, because I keep having him reboot the modem.

So now I need to replace the modem. It is time, and with as much as we are on the computers I think we really need it.

So if you don't see me much, it is cause our modem has decided that I can't play with it anymore.

My computer is always battling with me and it always wins. We thought we had the picture thing with our puter fixed but we tried to E Mail some pics last night and it just would not do it. We finally gave up. Good luck Ms Grumpy.

We have Uverse and the 'gateway' for all the TV's and internet is also a wireless router. Have to admit, no issues with it in a couple of years now, laptops, desktop, tablet and phones. Most likely your computer, not the router. I had problems with one laptop but when 3 others worked fine, along with the other computers and phones, can't blame that on the router.

Hank, we are pretty sure that it is the router. It is about 5 years old and is pretty much in constant use since we run computer information sites. Our webmaster has helped us to figure out my problem. I did defrag my computer just to make sure.

Computers are great, when they work. It just always goes down when we need them the most.

Computers can be hard to cooperate with sometimes, that's why I use my iPhone most of the time.
