Well they are 2 different completely patterns of vinyl! Are you too cheap to just buy the correct ones so you can stop asking the same question and getting the same responses

i understand the vinyl is different, have someone read the question to you!

Does it matter if they fit or not, don't you want the correct ones? What kind of car is the seat going in?

Give a call to PUI or Legendary and ask if the covers will fit.

brown ,I wish I had an answer for you but I know someone you could call that would know and that is James Hinshaw of Hinshaw Chevelle Parts in Elon College ,North Carolina .I dont have his number handy but can get it for you later ,he not only sells parts but does restorations as well and knows his stuff .He is a wealth of information on all years .

Can't you just buy the correct seat and then the problem in solved?

shadowgray396 04-17-2012 11:38 AM

Made a few calls and this what I found out. 64-70 bench seats don't use foam, they use springs, burlap, and cotton batting for the cushion. So to answer you question the covers are not a direct fit. You would need to take them to a upholstery shop and have them modified to fit.

thanks to all for the info on the seats,i've looked for a 64 seat but haven't found yet, once again thanks for the responses.
